"I've been at the Wrigley Hostel twice. It has a real 'homey' feeling. For the solo traveler, it's the place to be in Chicago! One of the best in the USA (I say this as a European who's been to 90% of them in the US). I've been to all the Chicago hostels, go here!"

"I stayed at Wrigley for the max 14 days. I absolutely loved it. The staff is wonderful and the location cannot be beat. You are a stone's throw from Wrigley Stadium and a quick walk from the Addison Redline. (You can get anywhere in Chicago in about 30 minutes from there.) The area is about as safe as a big city can be even at night. There are plenty of bars and music venues nearby. The hostel staff will take you on bar crawls, karaoke, and comedy clubs during the spring and summer. They are a lot of fun! The back deck is a great place to relax and meet fellow travelers. Wrigley is a great place to stay if you're coming to see a show or a game or even if you just need a place to sleep and store your stuff while you explore Chicago! 10/10 Will be back!"

"We booked a one-night stay just four hours before arrival, aiming to be courteous. However, a booking glitch selected the following night instead. When we reached out to Wrigley Hostel, we were met with a rigid application of policy that felt like exploitation. Instead of helping us correct the mistake, they insisted on canceling our initial booking without a refund and demanded a separate reservation. Manipulating a policy meant to protect the business against last-minute cancellations to exploit a customer is downright deplorable. It was unreal to be on the receiving end of such unethical tactics, from a well-established hostel, no less. Unless they make a drastic change to how they approach customer service, it's hard to understand how they can stay in business, aside from exploiting their customers at every opportunity."

"I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world. For the shocking price of $150/night, it was very disappointing. Biggest problem was that there were not enough bathrooms or showers for the size of hostel. Constant lines - better hope you’re not in a rush. Not very clean and one sink wasn’t working and one, I couldn’t get the taps to turn off. Barely any water if people were showering. If you’re going to put a hostel in an old house, make sure you retrofit it to suit. Spare kitchens that nobody ever used should have been converted to showers/toilets. Generally dilapidated. Had I paid something reasonable, it would be okay."

"This hostel is fantastic! Very clean. Perfect location for The Metro or ball games or just being in a great part of Chicago. I felt very safe. I can't wait to stay here again. Breakfast from 7 to 1030..how amazing is that"
