Hotel Versey Days Inn by Wyndham Chicago

"I arrived early in the morning and the staff were very nice and allowed me to check in early. The first room I was in had no fridge or microwave which was a bummer and the room was kind of small. There was not much to the room that was exciting. After going out for the day I asked the night staff if they had a microwave. Instead he upgraded me into a room that had a microwave & refrigerator and this room was a lot bigger and cleaner. The staff were able to assist me with everything I needed. This location is perfect you don’t really need a rental car. You can just download Ventura and use public transport. They have plenty of restaurants and shopping stores nearby. Housekeeping was awesome I prefer using my own bedding & they always made my bed with my bedding and threw out my trash in my trash bags. The only cons I would say are you can hear the room next to you and a lot of other things in the rooms by you. I would definitely come back & stay here again but only in the rooms with the microwave & refrigerator."

"Would definitely recommend, for the price, but know what you're getting. Hotel Versey was in a wonderful location. Easy access to the Brown and Purple trains, easy bus access to Logan Square, Bucktown, and Wicker Park. Definitely download the Ventra App for public transit! Our room left a lot to be desired. It was perfectly adequate for sleeping if you're fine with a firm mattress, but it didn't motivate us to spend extra time in it. We were excited to be out exploring the city, so for our first visit to Chicago, this was a plus! Our shower was either scalding or freezing with no middle ground, and the water pressure was abysmal. The service and public spaces were above adequate. A well-designed, pop art wonderland of a lobby was a wonderful first impression of the hotel. Nice employees, but I didn't get a sense of above-and-beyond service."

"I love this hotel. The decor is cute, the employees are terrific…friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, rates are reasonable. Some of the rooms are a little small, but workable. I’ve only visited in the winter so far and getting the temperature right has been a little challenge on each visit (too chilly then too warm). Neil and Aidan were great!"

"This hotel met my artistic and nostalgic personality. From the beautiful head sculpture heads that greet you when you enter the facility to the beautiful art pieces that decorate the wall. They had awesome art decals and old 80s n 90s artifacts like Batman comics and etch a sketch. The beds are so firm and the pillows are too, it gave me a great night's sleep. Everything we needed was in the neighborhood. They even have a Trader Joes across the street."

"Nice hotel at a great price point. Queen wheelchair accessible room was a little tight. I had to move the bed in order to get the wheelchair in. The bathroom was up a slight ramp (?) but was nice and large. It has a accessible shower and a separate tub. No refridgerator. Coffee maker and several coffee pods in room. As usual, the bed is much higher than our wheelchair so transfer into bed was very difficult. This is typical of hotel rooms. (Anyone know why?) The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Great location with a lot of restaurant choices walkable. Parking garages also within a block walk. Target and Trader Joe's across the street. Next time we'll try the king size accessible room to see if more room to maneuver the wheelchair."
