"beware of the Dollar World store the lady sold me a bag of chips and refused to exchange or give me my money back because they were expired, mind you I work here in Gurnee mills mall and see her everyday, we had a whole argument and she even denied I bought them there when I was just there a few minutes before, not to mention she charges an illegal $5 minimum on the credit card machine, in the state of Illinois it is against the law to charge a minimum on a card reader! Boycott her business and bad business practices stay clear if you can! Don’t fall for all the 5 star reviews those are people who are related to the store!"
"They treat their customers poorly. They are very rude, and don’t let you touch anything unless you buy it. DO NOT GO HERE. Also overpriced for a dollar store. If I could give this place negative stars I would."
"You would think that it says Dollar world that things are actually a dollar but they are not. A lot of overpriced item's that you could find at a dollar tree for a dollar. Items don't have prices on the shelf. I actually ended up not purchasing anything after I was rang up and found out how much things were! The only neat thing about this store is the "Chicago" merchandise they sell. It's good for people who are visiting Gurnee from out of town and looking for souvenirs. They do seem to be overpriced bit most items like that are"
