"I purchased stove and I was told they would contact me 4 hours before the item was delivered. However, it wasn't until 8 AM on Monday that I saw that a text message had arrived at 6:55 AM on Monday. The content of the message was that the message would be sent at 7 a.m. and delivered in 30 minutes. Not everyone wakes up at 7am and typical business hours are 9-6am. I would prepared to accept for delivery on 7 am if I was told a day before even though early morning. Do I have to stay awake 24 hours for delivery? So, I called her warehouse, and rather than explaining the situation, the female representative didn't even listen to me and kept talking about her own words. She was a woman with absolutely no training in entertaining guests. Feeling uncomfortable, I went to the Home Depot store and complained, but rather than listening to my complaints, the fat female working in the appliance dept responded curtly and very dissatisfied. My voice may have been a little higher than normal conversational tone, but the fat woman emphasized that she was very offended that I was yelling at her, so she called her manager. Of course, the manager only made it seem like they were acknowledging something wrong in the warehouse, but there was no apology for their mistake, such as saying that they could have called me on Sunday from the warehouse, which was quite an unpleasant situation. If the warehouse called me on Sunday and I didn't answer the phone, they should have left a voice message on Sunday, just as they left a voice message at 7 a.m. on Monday. I don't know if the warehouse works on Sundays or not, but if they don't work on Sundays, shouldn't they have called me on Saturdays and told me in advance about Monday morning delivery? Anyone can make mistakes. But isn’t the way professionals communicate by quickly acknowledging mistakes and correcting them? I think the best way to deal with dissatisfied customers is to quickly admit your mistake and apologize. Home Depot seems to need a customer service training program for its employees. I end up canceled the order."
"I walked in overwhelmed , and David helped me out in Blinds what a nice gentleman. He informed me of all the services you have. So happy, asset to your company.I will be back."
"My wife and I went to buy a washer and dryer. Stood back in the appliance department for 15 minutes with no one working in the department. So I called the store and ask if anyone could help us. The service desk said maybe they were at lunch. Really? No one else is available for a $1800 sale? Another associate passed by and I ask if there was anyone available to help us. She said she would find it somebody. Another 5 to 10 minutes pass no one shows up another associate passes by I ask if there is anybody working in the department and they inform me that they didn't come in till 5:00 p.m. and walked on. So a store as big as the home Depot chain has nobody working in the department except for certain hours? That was enough for us. We left and passing by the service desk I spoke with an employee behind the counter and explain to them what had happened and they just lost an $1,800 sale and she seems unfazed by the event. Home depots customer service is absolutely atrocious. They're associates are apparently not cross-trained to work another departments much less trained to work in their own department. And it's obvious that there to do one thing only which is stock shelves. So unless you know exactly what you want and know where it is don't go to Home Depot try Menards of Ace Hardware!"
"Great store with amazing customer service. Anything and everything you need to fix your home, office or business. Plenty of parking."
"Sam at the returns/customer service was so nice, went extra mile to help me order the product and greeted us with big smile at 8am in the morning!! Ive been having bad experiences at the customer service at different locations (niles on dempster especially) but she made me completely forget about those experiences. Thank you for making my morning!! And thanks for complimenting my hair haha!! Definitely coming to this location. 1000/1000! Stan at the appliances was super helpful too. We are so happy we met him. Thank you stand for helping us get range hood and the lg dryer/washer! Thank you stan!"
