"I don’t do reviews. However if I can help the next home owner I feel it’s worth the time. It’s important to me to support family run businesses and that philosophy has caused me nothing but headaches. I purchased cabinets through Lakeland over the course of 10 years. Giving the measurements, setting up the schematics was a bit of a pain. I was unlucky enough to be stuck with possibly the worst person to set up cabinets with. But I had patience and received all of the lower kitchen cabinets. Next I purchased an oven cabinet. I attempted to work with a different salesperson but I was stuck with him unfortunately. At the time of initially creating the file we only set up a standard oven place holder. Once I had the oven purchased and knew the measurements I sent them over and paid a premium to custom size the opening. Once received it was the standard oven place holder measurements that I received. When I complained I was blamed and eventually I had to cut the cabinet myself in order to fix their mistake. Ok from here I must be a glutton for punishment because I went forward with purchasing the upper cabinets. The salesman never asked any questions outside of if there were measurement changes. Once we had that squared away I paid for them and waited for delivery. To my surprise all the cabinets I received were grey instead of all the previous cabinets being off white. The grey was supposed to be the beaded lines. That’s where I made the mistake. I assumed they had the colors saved from the cabinet plan file. When we first spoke on the phone I verbally told the salesman off white, beaded cabinet dove grey. To confirm I sent a picture of my previous cabinet style. Again no questions regarding color, distressed look etc. When I called it became the blame game again. Saying that my file was old and that this was created over the course of 10 years. From here I gave up. I realize this guy just can’t seem to get anything correct if his life depended on it and I blame myself for not going to Studio 41 from the very beginning. I called the cabinet manufacturer, got the exact color and will now rent a paint sprayer and do it myself because I don’t even want to bother speaking to a moron. Do yourself a favor, skip the headache and just purchase from someone that has their head on their shoulders. Mistakes happen and they will never own up to it, leaving you with thousands of dollars in cabinets that could be the wrong size or the wrong color."

"We are doing a bathroom model. Our first attempt to work with Lakeland was a frustrating experience which was compounded by the indifference by the staff. They seemed to blow us off because they want a better relationship with their contractors rather than with actual customers. They see the home owner as the low man on the totem pole. We shopped around and after consulting with our contractor we decided to give Lakeland a second chance. Bad Idea. The second time they decided to show us how rude they could be. I would have preferred the indifference. I would prefer a company that treats its customers and potential customers with respect"
