"Never disappointed when we brake for BBQ here! The post today pulled us in and didn’t disappoint! Tried 2 new sides as well…seriously culinary perfection. Bravo to the back of the house, service team, and MOD who made every guest feel welcome and attended too!"
"Went there last night, it's the only restaurant in walking distance to the hotel. AND IT WAS GREAT! I had the brisket nachos, daughter had the salmon with turkey and dumplings and baked beans as sides. The nachos were huge, I will probably get two more meals out them, and the brisket was cooked perfectly. Whatever sauce they used on it was perfect. Daughter decided the salmon was meh, but loved the turkey and dumplings and baked beans. She would probably just get a quart of the turkey if she was to go back! The beans had celery in it, which I had never seen before, but it did not overwhelm the flavor, and gave them an interesting (and not bad) crunch. Tried each of their sodas too, it was varieties I don't see at home. The cherry cream soda was great! Oh - and the staff was super friendly, explained the ordering process, brought the food to the table, etc. We will be back!"
"The food was delicious. The only think I was not a fan of was all the bbq had sweetness to it. I like smoky, spicy, and vinegar based. The Texas one was the closest but still had a bit too much sugar in it. The meat itself was so good I did not need any sauce but I like bbq on my fries. Will definitely go here if I ever come this way again."
"Good BBQ, low smoke flavor. Meat was tender and fell apart with light fork touch. With eight sauce choices, there's something for everyone. I like the spicy jerk sauce the best. Counter service with food on paper lined baking sheets is more rustic than some places."
"Best brisket nachos EVER!!! My family stopped here after a trip to St. Louis and everyone enjoyed their food. It will be our new food stop from now on. We had not one complaint… 10 out of 10 recommend"
