"Stopped in with my wife for a quick lunch after a mid morning hike. Food was fantastic. Price was reasonable and atmosphere was very homey and welcoming."
"The burgers here are on point. The chili not so much. Tastes like cheap can chili. Nice cozy diner atmosphere, bathrooms are very dated. Door doesn't lock, no toilet paper holder, ancient hand dryer, etc. Come here for the burger though it's delicious and affordable"
"4:30 pm on a Tuesday. First time trying Pete's and not impressed. Ordered 2 double burgers with onion and ketchup only. Repeated no cheese several times and still ended up with cheese on both. Burgers tasted like the salt shaker was spilled on them. Tried one bite of both just to make sure. Onion rings were ok at best, a little overdone. $20 bucks in the trash. Wont be back."
"This is a neat place to try if you are in the area. Service was business like. Not unfriendly, but not pleasant either. I had the bacon double cheeseburger as a basket with fries and coleslaw. The burger was excellent, cooked perfectly, and all the toppings included. The fries were undercooked but tasted fine. The coleslaw was very good. I enjoyed talking with the locals, and I would definitely stop in again."
"This was my second choice, the other local breakfast place was very busy and had a wait. Being the organic, vegan eater that I am, this is not a place I could eat at very often at all But my husband, who is a farmer had a great appreciation for this place. He had the ham, hash browns and eggs. Standard and he enjoyed every bite. My cinnamon roll wasn't vegan at all or organic for that matter but it tasted good. I don't even know if it was homemade and possibly microwaved. But, the atmosphere, owners & local patrons are what makes this place 5stars. We appreciate small, local business and we left full and happy. It's a go here, it's the nostalgia, they've been in business 51 yrs. ❤"
