"This was my first apartment and my first time being on my own and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Lisa has been more than helpful with guiding me through the process of moving and helping me understand what I am doing (signing papers, what it is I am signing, etc…) but she has also gone above and beyond to make me feel like this was the right choice for me. She is always trying to bring our community together! whether it be throwing a Christmas grinch party for us all to meet and get to know each other or catering a food truck so we can spend more time with our family instead of worrying over what’s for dinner. It’s the sense of belonging that makes me happy I chose these apartments. So if you’re looking for just an apartment then this is your place, but if you’re looking for more than just an apartment but a community than Encore on Alsbury has got you covered! 5 *’s"

"All, I've been with Encore Alsbury for 2 years. Not once have I had an issue of any kind until today. Past management has always taken care of me and my family. The last manager, Rhonda, was amazing! Unfortunately, the new manager wasn't so kind or professional today, to say the least. Fortunately, I was able to speak with Taylor (in the office), who was understanding, informative, and very professional. She was kind to my mother, who went into the office today to get some information about our lease. She put me and my mother at ease. We truly appreciate her kindness today."

"What a nightmare! Where to even start.... Needless to say, first impressions are lasting. 1) move-in day, we were asked to arrive after 3:00-3:30 due to cleaning and prep for move-in delaying the movers for 3 hours which cost us extra per hous. (still can't figure out what was cleaned) 2) AC not working, although maintenance promptly fixed issue. 3) The absolute filth and nastiness that we walked into was appalling. Toilets with dried urine around seat latches, filthy windows, blinds, drawers, cabinets **please see attached pics 4) Small closet in kitchen smells of mold that permeates throughout the apartment. Has water leaking from somewhere. ***edit*** This issue is in the process of being fixed. Thank you to Jennifer, the assistant manager, who actually listened to our concerns and started the repair process. 5) AC intake is dripping water- panel was removed and repaired with ducktape. ***edit*** This issue has been fixed. "Management and staff are useless. When I moved in, they rushed me through signing my lease, tried to get me to sign a lease that was much more than what they quoted me. The apartment was disgusting when I moved in. There was candy stuck the the floor, everything in the kitchen was sticky, leaky stinky kitchen drain, nothing had been dusted, I can tell you the person that lived there before me had a dark color long haired dog because the hair was everywhere, there were stains all over the carpets. When I brought it to their attention I was told that I should have looked at new construction properties because I had too high of expectations. Their gates are always stuck open but that works in the residents favor because the gate remotes they give you also don’t work. I was never given pool, dog park or walking entry codes. When I asked they seemed so inconvenienced by me wanting access to what the complex had to offer. Mid lease they charged an $80 per pet fee to get a dna test on my two ESA dogs. I got my dogs dna taken at the office by staff. They proceeded to bombard me with attitude that I needed to take my dogs in for the dna test for almost two months after they took their sample. These women openly talk about other residents private business. I was assaulted in my apartment by a person that was on the lease. Said person was arrested and charges were filed. They never officially gave the person anything stating they were banned from property. But wouldn’t let me out out of my lease without penalty “because they took care of the problem my banning person from the complex”. They tricked me into resigning the original lease (they messed up) right after my assault because if left untouched it would have negated me from responsibility and allowed me to leave my abusive living arrangements. All to ensure I would have to pay over $3k to help myself. When I had them do their walk though of my apartment, I recorded their deplorable behavior toward me. Also recorded every interaction with them. I suggest you do the same. Because they then tried to charge me for the stains in the carpet and multiple other things that I had proof was there when I moved in. They were always rude and not helpful but they crossed a line over into catty high school bullies. I watched and listened as not only the apartment manager and assistant manager, but also the maintenance persons stood in front of the leasing office and talk and laugh about my situation. Loud enough for me to hear from my patio. They refused to take my phone calls or speak with me about my options they promised me when they tricked me. Or abide by Texas property code 92.016, but they absolutely cashed that over $3k cashiers check the same day they received it. Do not put yourself through dealing with these people or gross apartments. I am far from the only tenant that had issues with the upkeep and cleanliness of this place."

"This place is a nice looking place in a convenient location in Burleson. Nice, friendly residents, and pets are usually welcome. The one star comes from the money hungry property owners. There are so many hidden fees, changing property rules, and awful customer service, I can't believe they are still in charge! The craziest policy they enforce is charging $80 to DNA swab each dog living on property, so if you allow your dog to poop on site and neglect to clean it up, for any reason, and the apartment owners find it, they DNA test it and charge the offending residents a $250 fine! I don't know how that's legal! I pray that this lovely complex eventually gets owners that appreciate the people who make this place a good place to live."
