"July 28 2023 I had to drive 1,100 miles To Porter, Texas from Michigan for a family emergency and I stopped at Porter Executive Inn I got there at 2am I parked across from the door the clerk at the counter asked if I had pets I told her no she said you do because of where you parked I told her I do Not.Then asked if I wanted smoking or non smokingI told non She said I do not have non-smoking. I said OK give me smoking. She said no, you'll complain, I said. Look, lady, I need to sleep. She said you can go to one of the other hotels I'll draw you a map I said no give me a room I need to sleep She told me I'm acting crazy Are you gonna give me a room or not? She told me no. I didn't find a hotel til 3 Am . July 29 2023 I'm still thinking about calling corporate over this she was very rude.."
"Room is cleaned to expectations, beds are made nice and tight and clean, love how fluffy the towels are, the management is awesome and met all our needs. The bath was so nice to soak in and the shower was a very nice experience on sore muscles. The beds are comfortable. Great quality television. We are GRATEFUL to have an ice machine at our expense and a soda machine around the corner. Overall we are pleased."
