"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! We booked a room as an emergency unexpected stay. As soon as we arrived to the room, we were shocked to find a bloody handprint on one of the beds. Upon further inspection, the other bed had shoe marks all over. We requested a "smoke-free" room, but the smoke detector was ripped off the wall & it absolutely smelled like cigarettes & weed. The toilet was over-flooded and there was a door connecting to the room next door that was NOT occupied by us (scary!). The television was broken. We requested another room given the circumstances, to which they agreed, but reception showed no emotion, letting me know they are used to these type of horrid complaints and do absolutely nothing to change it. The replacement room was better, but there was hair on the bed, TV had no remote, and it also had the smoke monitor ripped out. There was issues locking the front door, AND the bathroom door had no lock. It appeared to have been purposely broken. The bathroom had a half used up toilet roll that appeared to have dots of blood on. We immediately went to purchase our own. There was yellow fluid on the sink, and the towels were thrown inside the tub. The toilet was also broken and we were unable to flush. We were completely exhausted after 18 hours non-stop on the road, that I just went to sleep in the parking lot and waited for daylight. Everyone else opted to sleep inside but woke up with rashes and itchiness. We expected cleanliness above all other things, it is the least a hotel can offer. We seeked a simple "name-brand" hotel given the unexpected circumstances, and well, La Quinta is scratched off the list effective immediately. A Motel 6 would have probably done better than this junk. See the pics for yourself."

"My post is about the lack of hospitality. And by the sound of it the rest of the reviews hold up the same pattern….horrible service or lack of cleanliness; the “owners” response is almost robotic and it’s evident as the same experience is posted over and over. Nobody is doing anything to fix the issue, stop with the lies “owner” and admit your property is and will continue to be a truck stop for construction workers - and that is ok! Stay away, folks! BUT…. If you’re looking for a quick nap stay over then this is def affordable and easy to access; just don’t expect great service. I called ahead as I was going to be arriving after a long drive by at least 2 hours early. The attendant stated the facility was full the night before so I understand the time for cleaning. I walked in at 12 and he called me out saying he said no. I went to lunch and returned at 2:15 to be told “it’s only 2:15. I said they would be ready after 3”. Sarcastic and condescending. My 75 yr old mother asked to use the lobby bathroom and he said there were no available facilities and that the only bathrooms were located inside the rooms. We walked quickly to the next door Dennys and she didn’t quite make it; she had an accident in her pants before she could make it to the bathroom. We were in town for a funeral and would be returning the next morning. The lack of service and quality of rooms were far far less than what’s expected of such a well established name for years; this is my first and only bad experience with la Quinta and will definitely leave a last impression when it comes to deciding at which name brand hotel to stay on any future stays."

"Our guest room smelled like sewage and extremely poor breakfast. As a reward member, I requested at the front desk of late checkout, but they said ‘No.’ (Due to house cleaning) This hotel has a huge number of rooms and not at all full, but even one room can’t be spared for late checkout. Worst service management."
