"The wifi is nonexistent or barely works. The whole hotel smells like and old bathroom. The place im sure was amazing in its day, but now it makes more money on parking cars here for traveling across the border. The route to my room was filled with stairs with luggage i had to carry up it. So its deff got a good look, if you want to feel like the 1980s"

"If I’m crossing the border just for a quick trip, I will come by and drop off the car here and park it overnight. My family has stayed in the hotel and they said the rooms are clean and the service is great. From all the experience, they are amicable and very friendly. Currently they are all decorated with the current Christmas Theme. I highly recommend you drop by and give them a try."

"We had a wonderful experience staying at La Posada Hotel. The hotel is located very close to the Rio Grande River with nice views of both the river and the beautiful inner courtyard with a pool and several areas to relax. There is an old-town outdoor plaza next to a cathedral with restaurants nearby that makes for a nice evening escape. We tried the Tack Room restaurant and loved it. The beds are comfortable and the service is excellent. We would definitely come back!"

"The service in this hotel is terrible. They do NOT care about their guests, especially after you check out. I stayed there last week and left my fire stick with remote control in the room. I checked out last Wednesday and called them on Thursday to ask if they had found what I left. They took my name and phone number and promised they would call me back. They did not call me back. I have been calling back every single day and have to explain the whole story over and over to every person who picks up the phone. They tell me they will call back but they NEVER do. I am out of the country. I am now traveling in Spain and Morocco. So it is not easy to call the United States. Plus it is costing me every time I call. It has been 5 days and they have not solved my problem. The hotel is old. The rooms are small and smell moldy. The service could not be worse. Do NOT stay here."

"This is a gorgeous hotel with lovely staff. It has some stunning areas, and it's quite cozy and safe. The staff are constantly working to keep everything clean and functional. The breakfasts are good, too. They have much more variety than other hotels with continental breakfasts. The biggest issue I have is that the mattresses are awful. They hurt my back so badly! Also, the location is bad, unless you're going to cross the border. There's nothing around to do. I am shocked to see such a stunning hotel in the midst of such a desolate area."
