"Was pretty great a few years ago, despite the undeniable store odor. But in recent visits I’ve discovered the pricing system seems to have gone from reasonable thrifty vintage to confusing antiquey vintage. Is definitely still a unique spot though. Really wish they would put the prices on the items at least!"

"Far Out is my favorite place in Austin to look for antique, vintage, and unique pieces. Every time I'm in the area I stop by and there's cool new stuff, it's always changing. We've gotten vintage stereo speakers (excellent condition & sound), the most comfortable leather love seat recliner, several large ceramic planters, and a stainless steel pocket knife. Great deals to be had, and the owners & employees are so nice, especially for putting up with my bargaining!"
"Cool eclectic spot. Very old school south Austin vibes. Parking is available, but be careful not to miss the driveway. If you do there is street parking but you’ll have to walk a few hundred feet. They have a large selection of light up sign letters."
