"Watch out for the balcony corner rooms if you are a light sleeper. Even with ear plugs the street noise was absolutely insane. We moved to a non-balcony room, they again put us on the corner but the sealed windows provided better sound proofing at least. Riverwalk, the hotel is in a good spot next to the outlet mall but I would not pick the location again at this hotel due to the location b/w two busy roads producing noise pollution. The staff here were extremely nice and professional. They were probably the best experience out of the stay. The hotel room was comfortable although it is starting to show its age. Water pressure was good, fast hot water and the bed was great. I parked next door at the public garage for $10 per day. I was able to walk most places including the Tower of Americas. They gave me hotel credit for food and drinks but charged me anyways through resort fees, $25 a day. Overall, I probably would not stay again due to location and suggest not getting a corner room. I got a cheap rate so I think they had to make me suffer a little for it."

"5 seconds from the Riverwalk, comfortable beds, friendly service. I stayed here for a conference, but would gladly stay here again on my personal time. Easy to get to great restaurants nearby, good placement for running (can get out of town within half a mile); all in all, I had an excellent stay"

"Renovated right before the pandemic and it’s a lovely hotel. We upgraded to a corner, high-floor room and it did not disappoint. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had an attached wand which was handy for the kids. All the staff were kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The Tributary breakfast was delicious, especially after our failed breakfast the day before at Schilos (super long to get food and the breakfast was sub-par). If we come back to SA we would definitely not stay anywhere but here."

"The San Antonio Marriot Riverwalk is perfect. It is located, literally, on the Riverwalk. It is also an easy walk to the Alamo and a "Hop on hop off" bus stop. The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey, 25.00, not sure it was worth that but what I had was very good. The room was good and the elevator system was amazing. Very friendly and attentive staff. One staff member we met had been working there 42 years. That says a lot about any business. An excellent stay."
