"The room was hot and dated. The ac said 65 but it was no way near 65 degrees. It was very noisy. Construction going on across the street and o could hear music outside and I was k. The 20th floor. However room service was great and the location on the river walk is perfect."

"The hotel is centrally located and is walking distance from excellent restaurants on Alamo street as well as the river walk. Hotel bar and coffee shop were terrific! Room service delivered pizza was shockingly good. Cafe was great for brunch and is right on the river. Balcony on the river walk facing rooms was nice. Would return!"

"My wife and I stayed here and thought the service was outstanding!!! The location was great, and we enjoyed our stay. It was a bummer that the pool was closed but we’re from places where they heat pools. The only thing that I missed was 24hr access to snacks for purchase, but that’s a super insignificant thing. I would absolutely stay there again, next time I request a lower floor (though it’ll be louder) and on the southernmost side of the building facing west. We were in the 14th floor and had a great view of the city but had to look over to see the River. Also, the history of how this hotel was built and the proximity to pretty much all of the River and down town area was outstanding. The staff was truest some of the most friendly I’ve encountered! Great job!"

"The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was nice, not over the top. The best part for sure was being able to walk the surrounding area. Pros: Historic building (Look it up!) Location Room service pricing The view Cons: No parking other than valet ($50 per night) 7 min walk from parking garage Construction across the entrance Slow elevators A bit overpriced for having to deal with construction/parking"

"This is one of the greatest hotels I've ever stayed before. I had a top floor room and a stunning view of downtown San Antonio. It did not disappoint. The river walk is just below the hotel and it is fabulous. The service is amazing from the valet guys to the front desk to the bar. The staff is always willing to help. It is within walking distance to The Alamo and near the interstate for fast access to wherever you need to go. This hotel is absolutely amazing and I look forward to returning soon. Thank you and keep up the amazing work!!"
