"If you are looking for a relaxing experience. DO NOT STAY HERE! They have contracted out with Child Protective Services and house teenagers who are about to age out and they stay for months. If I had been there on business, I wouldn’t have minded but my husband had booked a weekend getaway and it was anything but that. Extremely unruly kids in the pool area and they set the fire alarm off for fun at midnight on Sunday and we were flying out at 0800 the next morning. The staff was sweet but helpless. The rooms were good but the environment in the hotel sucked."

"We stayed here to attend BMT graduation at Lackland. The front area was nice, room to gather and was clean and well decorated. The front staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is lacking. It seems it hasn’t been updated or properly cleaned in some time. Our room was outdated with no safe (only an empty hole where it was once located), stained furniture, curtains that were broken from the hooks in spots, and in need of a proper cleaning. Our fridge had food left in it from the previous occupants, dust was accumulated everywhere except the main tables, mirror was washed with a dirty cloth leaving marks across it, and the walls had plenty of dirty spots and peeling wallpaper."

"I am currently staying at this property at this Marriott property, and as a Titanium member, my expectations were high for a premium experience. Unfortunately, my stay fell short of these expectations. From broken furniture to a worn-out mattress, the room's condition was far from what one would anticipate, especially when relying on the safe for valuables. The irony of being advised to use a safe that was part of the deteriorating furniture wasn't lost on me. As a loyal Titanium member, I believe in the commitment to excellence that Marriott usually upholds. However, this experience has left me questioning the quality control and maintenance standards at this particular property. I hope Marriott takes note of these concerns and addresses them promptly to maintain the high standards that Titanium members rightfully expect. Looking forward to seeing improvements for a more satisfying stay in the future. On a plus side the Christmas decorations are very cute."

"We enjoyed our stay in our 2 bedroom suite. Friendly welcome every time we walked in. The breakfast was decent. No issues with cleanliness. You do have to request housekeeping by 9 am, but we never did that. We got scolded by the housekeeper for putting our trash into the outside trash can, because she had just changed the bags! Not sure where she would prefer for us to put our smelly fried chicken trash. Maybe she was just having a bad day. We did laundry and were pleased that they accept card rather than just cash. My parents stayed at the Courtyard, and although it's close, it's better to drive than walking distance. Would definitely stay here again."

"We were totally satisfied with our stay here. We were greeted with the bubbly personality of Iris at the front desk and appreciated how she made clear that if we needed anything at all to please let her know. Our room was clean and spacious. The kitchen area was such a convenience with the full size refrigerator which saved us from having to continually eat out. With only 4 stories we didn't get lost as guests as you do in some of the bigger hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends that come to the San Antonio area.
