"Great park that is canopy-shaded for hot, sunny summer days. Typically it is not very busy, even on weekend afternoons. I think the demography in the surrounding neighborhoods leans toward ages 50+ such that there is not a regular crowd of young children. As the name suggests, it features a pirate-themed climbing structure with a slide, set atop padded false grass. There is also a swing set and plenty of room for running. I've met some very polite and kind parents and children there."

"I used to bike down here with my brothers, they love this park it has great shade, few features, swings and a pool next to it for summer fun!"
