"Back to Discount Tire for me. I brought my Truck to the Webster store for a my periodic balance and rotate. They noticed that one of my tires had chunk of rubber missing from the sidewall of the tire and the steel belts were showing. The tire is unrepairable and they said they would replace it under warranty (prorated) but they didn't have a replacement tire in stock. I was told that the Pearland store had 3 tires in stock. The next day I take my truck to the Pearland store for the warranty replacement. The Tire center "manager" looked at the tire and said it would not be replaced under warranty because there was a small scratch on the edge of the rim and he determined that the wheel had been curbed and that is considered an "accident". I told him that the Webster store said it was a warranty replacement and I even showed him where there own policy that states: What is covered: 1. "Road hazard failure" is defined as a tire that becomes unserviceable due to cuts, non-repairable punctures or IMPACT DAMAGE. After a heated back and forth he stuck to his guns and kept claiming that the truck had been in an "accident" and that they would not cover the replacement under warranty Took the truck back to Webster they ordered the tire and replaced it under warranty no questions asked (prorated at $175 which is really not much of a warranty considering that is about what I paid for the tire originally but tire prices have increased dramatically since I purchased the tires ~3 years ago) Thanks to the friendly Tire Center "Manager" in Pearland the next time I need tires I'm heading back to Discount Tire and will not look back."

"Got everything processed for a TPMS workup. Paperwork was given to me at 10:40am. I went to shop around and was sitting in front of the tire center at 11am. At 1:20 I asked for an update. They claimed they called me at 11:15 and left a voice mail. I showed them my phone and checked and voice-mail to see I had nothing. This worker who claimed he called me made false paperwork to show he "called" me at 11:15. Don't get work done here if they're going to lie about making and leaving a voice-mail. Update: Asked to speak to someone higher up and the higher up lady said she could pull up the call log. She came back and told me there was proof I was called. One of the workers showed me a picture, and it was in fact NOT my number. It was 1 number off. Very incompetent staff. If they can dial a number correctly, what makes you think they can install things correctly? It all involves numbers."

"Only saving grace for this place is free rotation during its warranty. Be ready for a long wait though (20 mins on phone) and 2 hr for rotation even after appointment. You’ve better luck buying a whole car by the time the rep checks you in for a tire rotation."

"Terrible experience. I had a 11AM appointment for a tire rotation and balance and I did not make it out until closer to 2. 3 hours for a tire rotation and balance. And to be honest, I did not even see then balance my tires. Just popped the back tires to the front and the fronts to the back and called it a day. At one point I peaked into the work area and noticed all 5 tech's huddle up in a corner. I later found out that they had a 45 minutes meeting while 4-5 other customer's have been waiting 2 hours plus for their cars. Not the best time to have a team meeting when there are several customers waiting. The customer's time is not important as their time I guess. Also this CostCo location is very careless about how gentle they treat your car. I have numerous door dings and my tire rims are always scratched up that I did not have before bringing in my car. I do hand wash my car so I know if there are new car door dings or if my tires are scratched or damage. They do not care about taking care of your car whatsoever. I noticed that they are not careful with the torque air gun when taking off and putting back in the tire lug nuts. They are just very rough and careless about your car. They always seemed angry about working here and have very bad attitudes. If you don't like working here, I heard that Discount Tires are always hiring. I mean y'all only do tires and batteries. How hard could that be? Seriously, if you love your car and don't want door dings and your tire rims all scratched up, go somewhere else because they don't value your business here or how hard you work for your car in keeping it good condition. They treat your car like garbage cans. Throw them around and denting them. It's not their problem or concern."

"First time getting tires at Costco. Everyone I interacted with was nice. The tires needed to be ordered and only took 1 day to arrive. The installation took about an hour while I shopped. Very good experience getting tires. The tires also ride great on the road. So far, so good."
