"This happened today, I along with at least 20 others were locked inside the store with only one way out. This was at 7:47pm at the Humble Deerbrook Mall location. I asked the young man didn’t get his name but I asked if we could leave out of the upstairs doors into the mall and he answered no they don’t usually do that. I completely understand they were closing soon but to close and lock the metal doors. Someone should be concerned about the safety of your customers in times where we have active shooters. I was absolutely concerned about my safety, as I was shopping alone and making me go outside to walk to get to my car is horrifying. Unbeknownst to me police cars and officers were outside, I don’t know why but this is exactly the reason I was afraid to walk all the way around to get to my car. Caroline was the lady who finally came to unlock the garage type door to allow us safe access, no apology seemingly annoyed. If this is a normal occurrence at this store or any other store, please consider the safety of your customers not the inconvenience of your staff. Active shooter is real and it does not seem to be going away, my job teaches its employees and drills about these types of incidents. I am very upset about being locked up inside your store."
