"A Disastrous Repair Experience at Dr. Cell Phone: Customers Beware This review serves as a cautionary tale to protect others from similar deceptive practices. Do not trust the 4.7 review. I recently brought my phone to this store for a screen replacement, hoping to revive it after an unfortunate drop. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. Faulty Repair: I took my wifes phone for screen replacement and I paid $350. Apparently they use OEM parts, which is fine. I received the phone after repair took it home and left it in a drawer. When i picked up the phone, screen was working. I already got my wife a new phone, so she never used the repaired phone. About a month and a half later my wife charged and turned on the phone. The screen started to flicker. And there was big white spot on top left of the screen. We took the phone in and the guy said the LED screen inside is broken and unable to fix it under Warranty. My question Is, how does thwascreen break if no body ever touched the phone or used the phone. Warranty Misrepresentation: When I inquired about warranty coverage for the new issues, the staff confidently assured me everything was covered. However, when I later attempted to claim the warranty, I was met with a shocking denial, with the shop claiming the warranty don't cover broken screen and it only covers dead spots. This blatant disregard for their promise felt like a deliberate attempt to mislead and exploit. In conclusion, my experience at Dr. Cell Phone was a complete disappointment. The botched repair/parts and false warranty combined for a truly frustrating and costly experience. I urge potential customers to look elsewhere for phone repair services and avoid the same pitfalls I encountered."
