Like eyelashes and shampoo, oils and other offbeat yet quality brands. Ask for help in these savings. Great app to download before visiting that can be used in store as coupons and deals. Beautiful shelves and displays, as well as great floral department! And ty Austin for accepting my photos on a viral level! More than a million views !! Crazy responses!! PLUS , h.e.b. curbside or other h.e.b. delivery service request are honored and time saving from food stamp orders or credit card orders. Excellent store on MANCHACA AND SLAUGHTER Y'ALL! "Backing up what the previous reviewer shared about drastic changes in food quality and other problems. Been going to this HEB for 4 years and in the 4 or 5 months things have really deteriorated to the point that I’m going to have to go somewhere further. The produce is always poorly stocked, consistently out of stuff. My strawberries were literally a pile of mold after 1 day. Got some “fresh” baked bread that I failed to notice was fully green on one side until I got home. Opened a bag of stale On the Border Chips only to notice they expire in 1 month. (All separate orders and separate recent trips). There’s hardly anyone around to help. People just stand around at the fish counter waiting for someone until they give up. I’ve seen that happen at least 3 times in the last few months. Today a guy stocking bananas almost rammed with his cart while I was in full view carrying a baby and I just reflexively said “sorry” (which I shouldn’t have) as he gave me an annoyed look. What on earth!? The meat selection is lacking, not much to choose from. The produce and bakery section are pretty basic or just out tons of stuff. Anyway, it’s disappointing because HEB as a brand is typically so reliable in terms of quality and service. This store needs some major improvements, more helpful and friendly staff, and better quality control."

"This is one of the better H-E-B locations anywhere in the state of Texas, if not the world. This location has been a stall wart of South Austin throughout the recent decades. This location continues to surprise, innovate, and embrace the dynamism of South Austin."

"Used to work at this H‑E‑B a few years back and produce was everything like amazing. NOW as I come all I see is rotten food, expired & even molded fruit. It has fallen off drastically. Maybe new employees are needed cause when I addressed someone about the issues they just said they let them know but failed to do so."

"Always dependable and clean and friendly staff willing to help the disabled and aged too. That's real customer service! The business office is the best for paying bills and require only a small charge for that. Not like telephone or service from utilities, as we know it cost to more to pay by phone. And h.e.b. has some very good prices on stuff you use everyday."
