"I need that gold paint, HD. Tryna copy those vids I saw using wood trim designs on walls. Y'all know the ones. Great selection of tools and supplies, and reasonably priced. Having retired master tradesmen/women who give basic pointers would be great."

"So maybe this is the trend for all Home Depots across the country but I find this frustrating.. You have basically removed all employee managed checkouts, replacing them with self checkouts.. not a bad idea, if done right. But you have to complicate everything. Have a total of 8-10 checkout stations, but just leave 2-4 open, then assign 1 employee who is running around and trying to help multiple people with checkouts simultaneously, creating a long queue and frustrating the customers. So there are aisles where employees are sitting and chatting or doing nothing, and then there are certain employees (assigned to self checkouts) who are running around and keep things moving and finally there are employees who at this point have given up and take their sweet time on the self checkout assists.. Home Depot, you can do better…"

"This might be the best Home Depot in Houston. I have been to around 10 other locations and this one cannot be beat. 99% of the time they are stocked with what you need. 100% of the time, they will help you with whatever you need. Love this place."

"Customer service is horrible. Plenty of associates but very few that actually want to help. If you need to rent something I advise you to go somewhere else. The older gentleman who works it the rental station in the morning was not at his desk and in the break room. I waited for 10-15 minutes. Another associate went to get him and he came back about 10 minutes later. He didn't acknowledge me or another customer or try to help. He literally turned is back and pretended to look at papers and ignored us until we left. I think he wore glasses but I could not tell because his back was turn towards us the entire time. You can go and grab free tools if u want because he isn't at his post nor does he do what he is required to do.The guy should be replaced with someone who actually cares about their job and will do what they were hired to do. Multiple associates had attitudes and do not have good communication skills when it comes to the customer. One younger guy in check out area was trying to be helpful but he seemed like he was new. I won't return I'd rather drive to another location, Lowe's or Ace. Zero out of five stars"
