"My wife and I went to Pichurros with our neighbors (4 of us) near Christmas time for diner around 6 (just getting around to this sorry). Despite being pretty packed we were seated right away. The space is fairly spacious and well decorated and even though it was very busy, it didn't feel like people were eating elbow to elbow, there was plenty of room. The service was very good. If I had a gripe about it, it would be that we were dealing with too many people, about 4 different wait staff during our dinner at one time or another, but they were all very attentive and eager to get whatever we wanted. The menu is EXTENSIVE, there are no less than 140 items to choose from, so if I had another gripe it would be that the menu needs to be trimmed a bit, it seemed a bit overwhelming. But if your into vast choices, then you are in luck! They have a full bar which is nice. I ordered a Negroni but they did not know what that was and had no Campari, so my friend and I ordered dirty martinis. They were not that good tbh, too much vermouth, too much olive juice. However, My wife and her friend ordered Margaritas and were very pleased. So my advice would be to stick to beer or order from THEIR drink menu and you will be better off. The meals were very tasty, cooked well, plated well with fairly good presentation. I think the portions may be a bit smaller than Rudy's, but I think it makes up for that with taste, and to be honest, I don't think any of us finished our plates. I bit on the pricey side I think, but then it seems that Mexican food is more expensive in every restaurant I go to now anyway. We live in the general area and we have been waiting for a decent restaurant to open up in this strip mall, because lets face it, after Walmart left pretty much everyone else did too, so this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood, worth a visit when your in the area."

"Service: Amazingly friendly waitstaff! Food: Houston is known for its Mexican cuisine. Pichurros did NOT have authentic flavors. Queso tasted like it came out of a can and lacked any real flavor other than the fake butter. I would compare their fajitas to Taco Cabana's. Price: This is where I had the biggest issue. My family and I can eat from roughly the same price at most Mexican Restaurants. Pichurros was $30 more expensive than the average. Given the quality of food, a 30% hike in price was simply unacceptable. I'm willing pay good money for quality food... but this wasn't it. The quality and price of Pichurros might work well in Tomball but I doubt it will transfer well to our area."

"The food is so good! The Mojo de Ajo shrimp dinner is AMAZING!! The best I’ve had in Houston! I’m pescatarian so I have tried it at other places but it is absolutely the best here. I hope they stay consistent with their great food and margaritas! The service is awesome as well!"

"The restaurant is cute. Plenty of space and they were able to accommodate 6 of us. The service was good for some things and spotty for others. They kept our chips full but asking for water more than once is not super. But if you order a drink from the bar? To you in no time. Also,.it wasn't overly busy here. Few tables but no wait. So the food. One of my friends ordered a nachos as an appetizer and a carne guisada as her meal. They took it upon themselves to combine the two and deliver soupy and almost inedible stew nachos. Two others had fajitas without complaint. Then there's me. Ordered a stuffed avocado. Under the "chefs specialities". The first avocado looked terrible. You eat with your eyes and it looked very unappetizing. It's one of my photos. But whatever I'll cut into it and give her a go. Ice cold in the middle. Not embellishing. But unmelted cheesy and cold meat cold. Guy said he would replace it with a new one. Also stone cold in the middle. How do you mess up frying a damn avocado? How? I asked for a refund and just not worry about it, but he insisted on making one final one. This one was warm in the middle at least. But the breading wasn't great and I dunno just wasn't into after seeing the black first one. Chips and salsa were on point. Salsa is warm, for your info. Would I come back? Man I really need to think about it. Didn't have the best experience. Happy Thanksgiving!"

"My husband and I have been watching for this restaurant to open and we saw this week that it had. Holy Cow! This was the best experience we have had in a very long time. The food was delicious and plated nicely. Romelio, the owner was just so personable and friendly. My husband had the Chicken Mole and literally got tears in his eyes about how good it was! I had the Ixtapa dinner with a great sampling of several different items and everything was on point. So fresh, so tasty. We will not only be back, this will certainly be our new go to on a regular basis. We are so glad to have them in our community and to dine in a family owned place where everyone who works there is so friendly and welcoming."
