"While i generally like lowes and prefer them over other home improvement stores, i will never buy plywood from them again. I bought a 2' x 4' piece of 1/4" birch plywood from the lake worth store. I cut it on a table saw using painters tape over the cut area to prevent the veneer from tearing and chipping. When i pulled off the tape, some of the veneer pulled off. I was told that i could not return cut lumber. This was obviously a manufacturing defect, like a badly machined tool, which i could return without a problem. Their plywood is of poor quality and i strongly recommend against buying it. The plywood i bought is going in the garbage."

"I purchased two doors and one storm door for my house from Low’s. After one year all of them were damaged I called the store many times but thy said you have to call the manufacturer. We end with both of them without fixing or replacing as the warranty said. Don’t buy or order doors from Low’s."

"I love Lowe's, especially two in the Fort Worth (Texas) area, one off Quebec and 820 in Lake Worth, and the other off 183 in White Settlement. Although they're both really good, the specific one I'm reviewing is particularly amazing because of the staff they choose. The store is impeccable, always fully stocked, the staff is helpful, and there are always plenty of people working if I have any questions. The store is well-organized, too, and I can always find what I need to complete a project. When I struggle, I have always managed to find an employee with knowledge who can think out of the box to offer alternative suggestions to help me successfully complete my projects. Returns are seamless, too, and they will go out of their way to make sure customers are taken care of and leave with a smile. I also love that Lowe's has the MVP program for pros and businesses to track my purchases and make returns easier. Cashiers are also friendly and helpful, too, and never fail to offer to get help to load my larger or bulky items. Most of their staff have been there a very long time and are invested in making the store operate smoothly. I work on home construction projects and actually love coming here. It makes my jobs so much more pleasant to have everything I need ready to go! Go see for yourself! You'll be so glad you did!!!"

"Awful experience with costumer service. My husband and I went to buy plants for our house and found a deal for 2 for $30 but when we checked out at the outdoors cashier she mentioned that the price wasn’t popping as marked, so she called a manager but she very nicely suggested to go inside instead, to avoid waiting for too long. So we did. We always try to make people’s work easy and we are as nice as possible, since we know costumer service jobs can be tough. We ended up at Costumer Service served by Debbie and then Shelby. Them both were extremely rude the whole time. We only asked to check out with them, since the special wasn’t popping at other cashiers. We waited for more than 40 minutes in which they were mocking and making comments between them, like “for only 7 dlls” (which was wrong). We had 3 plants and the special was 2 for $30. After a long wait, she said “I will change the price to $15 but only for 2 items, because the offer is 2 for $30, not 3 for $30” (which we weren’t expecting) in a VERY condescending tone. These were not the only things they said, but it is what I can remember. All the time we were there, they were investigating if the offer was actually real and trying to remove the offer from the store. The last two minutes she just radioed a manager and scanned his card to change the price. We are very disappointed with Lowe’s. From the way we were treated, we believe we were being racially discriminated by these women, because we were never rude or demanding. We feel extremely sad, because Lowe’s is always our first option, but after this experience we feel very uncomfortable."

"Lowe's. It's the home improvement store. Much better option for a home DIYer than home Depot. Selection is easy to navigate and find what you need. Help is abundant and always willing to go above and beyond. They have a great plant selection for your garden or indoor needs. Online order is quick especially for in store pick up."
