Applebee's Grill + Bar

"We went on 2/24 and there was a wait because they were short handed in the kitchen. The host was very good at explaining things and kept us informed. Once we sat, the server was wonderful. He was busy but you couldn't tell. He was very efficient and overall did a wonderful job. We were there around 2p.m. I can't remember the servers name. Food was hot and great. It was my son's birthday, he's Autistic and Applebee's is the only restaurant he likes to go to. We have been going for at least 20 years!"

"Had to ask for a seat away from window. Restaurant was cold. Air blowing right on us as well as other patrons. Food not served hot or cooked to instructions. Sirloin steak was cooked medium done. Asked for well done. After waitress said it was going back to the kitchen to be put on the grill; it came back cold; still medium done. They put more parmesan sauce on it; and shrimp. This outing to Applebee's was very disappointing. Service or food not the same. Munster Indiana location. Loaded potatoes and broccoli would have tasted better if they were hot."

"It's a shame to put this on just one location, but it needs to be said. I haven't been able to dine in an Applebee's for years (honestly, years) because not one in our area is ever staffed enough to serve. Today they couldn't even give a wait time to expect, and the folks working are obviously trying their best, but this is at least 6 times I haven't even been seated when I try to visit any location in the last few years. The folks working here this afternoon were much more pleasant in trying to deal with this than other locations, that I definitely want to recognize. Please support your staff!"

"This place has to be a joke! This is the most ghetto, unprofessional, out of control Halfway House on this side of town. Who owns this place? How could you allow your establishment to be ran as such. It’s giving you closing down and provided 30 day notice to staff. Anyway if you seeking trap vibes this is the place. Bring your own utensils and cup too. It’s not the cleanest. If the motel 6 was a Resturant this would be it. Everybody needs to be fired starting with the manager who has been engaging with the staff cursing more than a lil Wayne ALBUM. NOT A PLACE FOR CHILDREN!"

"It’s an ok restaurant. Apple Bees isn’t notorious for being the best place, but this one needs some work. The food was ok, and the servers were fun when they weren’t serving people. I had quite a bit of fun with the jutebox! Most people in here were not the friendly type. It was ok"
