"I am going on year 2 of living at Water’s Edge & I would absolutely recommend. First of all, location is prime: right on the river walk, which is great for exercise & for views, Harbortown is a quiet community, the security does a fantastic job, and downtown Detroit is 5-10 minutes away. The management (Kathy!!!) and maintenance staff are absolutely fantastic. So quick to respond to problems, friendly, and go above and beyond for tenants. The apartments are well-lit with large windows, large, & ideal for two students who spend a lot of time studying at home. The pool, gym, and common areas are also great places to spend time. My only complaint about the building’s construction itself is the way sound carries easily between walls and from neighbors above. Everything else has outweighed this con, so overall I’d still recommend!"

"I was a visitor and my vehicle was parked in a space that was apparently for tenants only. There were no signs or markings to state this. My vehicle was vandalized by your staff with an impossible to remove window sticker even though I moved my car immediately upon my sister in law getting a phone call from security. Unacceptable. This is property damage."

"I have been here since April 2016, 3 months after they first opened. I like living by the water, watching the boats and walking and people watching on the Riverwalk. I love the convenient access to the Riverwalk, Chene Park and the improved riverfront experience. I like having gated security and they do a good job. We have plenty of parking. When I first moved here it was very quiet and not a lot of amenities. There have been changes, updates and improvements over the years, they redecorated, the pool, the community areas, and the exercise/gym. Property management has changed. Some staff have been constant and they are great. The maintenance staff is nice, efficient and respectful. Tenants have come and gone, some rowdy and disrespectful of their neighbors and the property and some were very nice. The boaters/marina renters sometmes don't realize they are also in a residential area but majority of the time its not an issue. A previous reviewer mentioned the constant weed smell on the second floor and it hasn't changed. We had a bee and wasp issue this past summer hopefully it will be resolved next summer. Overall I enjoy living here, its a good apartment community."

"The apartments are spacious and each one has its own balcony. It's in a gated community with plenty of parking top-notch security. Maintenance issues are addressed immediately. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there's easy access to the river walk and marina. Rent has been increasing every year but still reasonable compared to other Downtown apartments."

"This place is amazing! I love the staff who are always friendly and professional. The fitness center is awesome, and it's only surpassed by the beautiful view of the Detroit River. The location is also a plus. I would give more stars if I could."
