"Will not be staying here again. First off, our room was not ready at check in. I attempted to explain to the front desk staff that I needed to get my room because of dinner reservations that were upcoming. The employee (couldn’t get her name because she wasn’t wearing a name tag) rolled her eyes and walked away to talk to the manager. They were unable to get my room and I was late for dinner. Finally get into the room, and the heater/AC unit was not working. Thankfully maintenance was able to fix this problem within the hour. I booked my room with 3 guest but they only provided 2 towels. We called the front desk at 9am asking for more towels but they said housekeeping was behind on laundry. In the middle of us asking questions the front desk hung up on us. One of us had to shower and use the hand towels to dry off. At 330PM we still had not received our towels. We called again and they still told us there were none. As of 520pm, I still have not received any towels and they can’t give us an update as to when we will get them. This hotel’s operating procedures are unacceptable and unprofessional. I will not be staying here again. If I could give negative stars I would."

"We switched our reservation to Hotel Indigo Detroit because of the restaurant and the late dinner hours. I called to make sure we could get dinner and were told to just get your order in before 9:45 pm. We had been at the volleyball tournament at Huntington Place which the hotel was also promoting with a large sign by their front desk. We were tired and hungry. We had checked in earlier in the day and saw signs in the entrance and elevator that the restaurant was open until 10:30 pm. Went to the tournament and came back to have a nice meal. Arrived to eat at 9:15 pm. The tables were filthy with dirty dishes and leftover food. They only had two waitresses and there were a lot of guests. We were told that the kitchen was closed and they ran out of food. Extremely disappointed. They shouldn’t be advertising for people to stay there for large events if they cannot order enough food and inventory for people. I went to talk to the hotel manager and was told there was no manager there. When I asked the girl at the front desk who makes decisions she shrugged her shoulders. We also were given an accessible room with a shower with no shower curtain and not enough towels. We asked for a standard room. Very dissatisfied with the lack of concern from the front desk staff."

"The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Every interaction, from the reception to housekeeping and the restaurant, was delightful. Although the room was somewhat compact, it maintained a pleasant ambiance. The restaurant offered a nice setting, and the food was truly enjoyable. Conveniently located within walking distance of downtown activities, and the lobby's decor added a unique touch to the overall experience. Also, thanks to Saiem for the wonderful valet service."

"Such a good experience here! We came in from Seattle and everyone has been so helpful and nice here! The rooms are lovely, with nice heat in the cold storm that hit with really great shampoos/conditioners/body wash/lotion even! I'm a sucker for nice touches like that. Beds are comfy, soft but not too soft to where it kills my lower back. The location has tons of great food/coffee/pastry options and is beautiful at night :)"

"The hotel staff was incredibly nice and helpful! Everyone I had an interaction with was great, the people behind the counter, the lady who was cleaning, and the waitress at the restaurant. The room was nice, even though it was a bit small. The restaurant was nice and the food was really good. It's walking distance from fun things to do downtown. I like the way the lobby was decorated. The room I was in had a fridge, but no microwave. There was a microwave I could use in the lobby, however"
