"DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Seriously my Barracks was in better shape than this building, it’s not worth the inconvenience to move into this place. Yes they made the lobby ✨pretty✨ but the units are usually in bad shape, bad flooring, dishwasher not even in the wall, balcony door came off the tracks & crushed my toe, elevators barely work & the “amenity” of washers & dryers… DONT WORK.I pay for assigned parking but “assigned parking is suspended”. Gnat infestation in the Summer. The staff & security are very nice so thats a plus. This entire complex honestly feels like a scam. They pay for cheap labor which you can see in each unit. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend. Spend your money on something that’s actually worth it. Definitely needs to be condemned!"

"Don't let the updated lobby and gym fool you. They're putting their money towards all the wrong things. It seems like everyday something new is wrong and I'm being told they "don't have the money to fix it." I'm dealing with mold- the boiler outside of my apartment burst and water came through my vents which resulted in water damage (to the point the floors have sunken), broken doors that literally fell off onto my partner toe, my balcony is rattling, my sink broke, the dishwasher isn't attached the the wall, the cabinets are barely attached (and the border of the cabinets is NOT attached), gnat infestation because the trash room/laundry room is filthy. The laundry doesn't work on most floors so you have to go floor to floor to find one that actually works. Don't even bother deciding between renovated and classic- they both look awful. Not to mention you're going to pay $100 a month for parking- w no assigned spots and active construction. And the elevators seem to break every other day, which is awful when you're walking 10+ flights of stairs. Would also like to mention the lack of professionalism from the manager who had scheduled a walkthrough with me and NEVER SHOWED UP. I had to go down to the office and plead just to get maintenance to look at my apartment. When offered the option to move, they showed me another unit that was not fully renovated and literally still had someone's pubes on the bathroom floor. I've been putting off making a review since NOVEMBER just hoping that something would be done and it seems like it's never going to be fixed. This place is a joke, and in all honesty needs to be shut down for renovations."

"I actually enjoy living here at The Jeff. They have a very friendly staff and are always willing to help. One day while dog sitting for a friend, my dog got loose and the staff stopped everything they were doing to help me find my friends dog and bring him back to me safely. I lover the views and spacious apartments. You honestly wont go anywhere in downtown Detroit an get these view, this space and this staff for this price."

"I have lived in this building for over a decade now and there has been some ups and downs but nothing major. This is a big building so sometimes it may take maintenance a little longer but it does get done. I believe that the view alone is worth it and management has steadily improved every year. It’s peaceful here and I like the residents and location. I would recommend this place to anyone."

"My Girlfriend lives here. We love the view! Since they got a new manager and maintenance supervisor , It feels better overall. They doing upgrades and renovating the lobby and gym too. The security is professional and here 24/7. People love to complain but need to remember that it was so bad not too long ago. Things don’t change overnight. But We love it here now and are looking forward to seeing everything complete."
