"My step daughter's grandmother lives here and absolutely loved it. She speaks very highly of the staff. They always inquire about her granddaughter and are very willing to take the time to visit with her when she is there. The grounds are very well maintained and the apartments are very nice."

"The property is equipped with swiming pool, gym, and babecue places and well managed. My reported repair was responded in time. The managers are very nice, approachable and helpful!"

"I'll leave a more thorough review with photos when I have more time, but in short this is the most I've ever felt at home. The management and staff team, the amenities, the grounds and nearby parks, and of course the apartment itself are all so very inviting and comfortable. All of my wants and needs are met, and any issues or concerns we've had has been addressed courteously and immediately. We all know that management can make or break a place, but we have nothing but wonderful and impressive experiences with everyone we've met here. I tell my partner basically on a daily basis how much I love our home and how it feels like we're staying at a hotel. I would highly recommend Traver Courts to my loved ones, and I'm very proud to show this place off to my guests!"

"About the best you can get for the price, in Ann Arbor! However, our time here was still a pretty mixed experience. The Good. The 2B units are quite large and the apartment amenities are fairly solid. The surroundings are pretty beautiful with lots of wooded areas and a great nearby set of homes to walk around—great for bird watching/listening. The place looks especially beautiful when it's snowy. The new management has made some nice updates to windows and pavement, and seem to be dedicated to improving the looks of the complex. Overall the place feels very homey. The Not So Good. The apartments are a bit old (conducive to mold), and the area is fairly noisy from the nearby roads. The washer and dryer are quite small, as are the toilet areas in the oddly formatted 1.5 bathroom. There were a lot of issues with water, where I was out of hot water for nearly a week but the hot water was also generally too hot/difficult to control in the showers. The new management team is not always the most organized/best at communicating; for example, they were very quick to renew my lease and get additional $$ for me, but took months and multiple emails to get a roommate successfully added. Overall, despite the issues I had, I'd recommend Traver Courts! Good deals on rent are hard to come by in A2 and this still seems like one of the better options "

"McKinley’s Traver Court Apartment Homes replaced Village Park of Ann Arbor in fall 2021. While the complex offers privacy and nice views due to its wooded surroundings, it no longer deserves a 5-star rating in my opinion. The grounds have seen some improvements, such as road replacements and updated landscaping. However, McKinley's communication is poor, and they charge excessively for what they offer. My rent for a 2-bedroom apartment increased from $1170 in January 2021 to $1430 in April 2022, despite no significant renovations. Although they did replace the windows, the overall space remains outdated, with old cabinets, doors, and hardware, as well as a small shower. The price doesn't match the quality. While they responded promptly to fix my thermostat within 24 hours, I've been waiting for 6 days to have my front door repaired. Additionally, the staff and managers don't always align, leading to discrepancies in fees and information, such as omitting a $200 addition fee for adding someone to the lease. Overall, McKinley’s Traver Court Apartment Homes could be a nice place to live if they improved communication and didn't overcharge for an unrenovated space."
