"More of a high 4 since the positives outweigh the negatives. Neighbors are really nice, so far always felt safe the months we've lived here, maintenance crew is nice, respectful, and responsive, and Robert is probably the best part of living here. Overall kind person! However, it's obvious that the landlord themselves like to take shortcuts with some things, like how poor quality some of our appliances and cabinets are. The two bedroom we currently live in clearly needed to be updated, but since there was an infestation before we moved in, they spent a lot of their energy and budget on dealing with the infestation, which we ended up having to move in a month later, and not updating anything. Which isn't 100% their fault, but it would’ve been nice if it was handled better. You'd think with a month to work with, things would've been handled better. Overall better than anywhere else we've rented in Ann Arbor, since it is fairly priced"

"Hello. The ammenities are nice: small w/d, fireplace, carport, balcony. The reality is that it has really gone down in the past several years. I have lived here for over 6 years. There is always garbage in the parking lot and grounds. I walk out of my apartment, with a private enterence, and there are beer bottles/cans outside my door and grounds. There was a shopping cart next to my carport for over a week. The bushes are never trimmed and look horrible. I recently found Cockroaches in my kitchen, which I have never had, and Management said it 'was not covered' under Sparrow Wood insect policy and would not address. Most of the grass is dead. The rent has gone up $100 each year and it is suppose to be 'market value'. It has no clubhouse, pool, workout center or outside access to a hose. Again, the grounds are so bad I am embarrassed to invite folks over."

"This place is great. Where else in Ann Arbor can you live with a private entrance, free covered parking, and an in-unit washer and dryer at this price? Especially with units a spacious as these. Plus, management and maintenance have never been anything other than quick and friendly. The buildings are a little dated and the insulation isn't great, but it makes up for all it's little normal apartment flaws."

"Small complex has its positives and negatives. The positives outweigh the negatives 5 fold here. Place is great for amenities on a budget. Neighbors are always nice and Robert is a real nice dude! Wish I would have known about this place before I lived at Spicetree for 3 years!"

"I lived here when I was little! I loved it! There is a great amount of space to walk around. Close to shops and the freeway. Parking is nice too. 5 stars."
