"I worked with Shardinai (and occasionally Shy, who was also fantastic!), she was very lovely and incredibly helpful and accommodating. Despite having moved during the holiday season, and we were both busy, she found plenty of time to help us move on our very tight schedule. I do recommend working with her. That being said, since we moved in, we've had problem after problem. The lights weren't working because the breaker was flipped, the oven wasn't plugged in, the outlets are too loose to work and needed to be replaced, and I'm jumping through hoops to pay rent. There was an open maintenance door in the closet in the bedroom... The leasing office will close outside of posted hours or on non major holidays with no notice sometimes, which sucks because that's the only place you can fill your laundry card. They didn't even tell us where we could get our mail at first. It's a nice apartment, I'm just kind of frustrated."

"Shy was my leasing agent, and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. Almost every phone call, I was able to be assisted with the many questions I had. And for the phone calls I left a voicemail for, Spice Tree would always call back to help assist me. I've had the pleasure of speaking with ALL of the current leasing agents and they all were so kind, pleasant, and helpful, even if they were not directly working with me. The apartment itself is beautiful, comfortable, and spacious, especially for the price point offered to me and my wife. We are looking forward to living our life in Ann Arbor and having Spice Tree to call our home now. It's good to know and very reassuring to have management that actually cares about their residents! Thank you for the 5-star service!!!"

"Resident since 2017. I’ve moved here shortly after graduating university and haven’t had a reason to leave. The property has been constantly improving year over year. The management is responsive. Maintenance is top tier. Shout out to Matt Jarvis, he is the backbone and spirit of Spice Tree, we are extremely lucky to have a technician as amazing at him. Special shout out to property manager Matt Walker. Thanks for taking care of our small family and I over the years."

"The maintenance work here is consistently stellar and responsive. They responded to a work report less than an hour after I reported it and replaced a broken part in a toilet. Ric was super nice and he went the extra mile to fix something else making an annoying noise he noticed (we didnt even ask and it was much appreciated). He has always done excellent work. Overall a decent place to live. The dumpster situation and the laundry card set-up are my only complaints. The walls are thick, the back patio and yard areas are spacious and green with some picnic tables and grills scattered across the properties. I've never had any problems with the rental office employees and rent increases have been reasonable so the positives generally have outweighed the negatives. The maintenance staff is genuinely one of the best perks living here, they've responded extremely fast when I had a ceiling leak at midnight and on weekdays they always respond the same business day. They are super nice and do much better work than anywhere else I have ever lived."
