Woodview Village Apartments

"I give zero stars. Complex was great until the recent change in ownership a year ago. Current management is unprofessional, rude, and does not respond to emails or return phone calls. My apartment flooded this last year because they didn't clear the roof from ice buildup. My carpet became stained and saturated and they did nothing...didn't even come inside to look at the damage. I had black mold buildup on my bedroom wall because of some type of issue with water saturation on the outside wall, and again they did nothing. They "made a mistake " in their records about the end date of my lease which I asked them to correct in their database multiple times and they still deducted a month's rent when they returned my security deposit and I had to call them multiple times to correct their mistake. I would never rent from any complex managed by MTH Management ever again."

"Run, don’t walk, away from this complex. Under the former local family ownership, this was the best renting experience I’ve ever had, but the moment it sold and the new property manager started, it turned into a nightmare. The property manager is one of the rudest and most discourteous people I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with, and he’s generally a bully. Brush up on your rights as a tenant in Michigan if you proceed! MTH as a whole was great, as I found when I had to call the main office in Lansing repeatedly to get maintenance or for help with moving out. I had to call them AT LEAST ten times while moving out to avoid having to take legal action against the property manager. If they get rid of Steve, it might be okay. There’s cheaper and better rentals all over Marquette. Unless it’s WRITTEN IN YOUR LEASE his preferences for giving notice or moving out DON’T MATTER. Look up the Michigan tenancy laws and protect yourself."

"Before the management switch I would have given this review a 4 star rating. The previous management were very easy to work with and accommodating. However the new management, MTH Management, is the worst management company I have dealt with. They are in the business of taking advantage of people, specifically college students. They are completely unprofessional, terribly rude, and extremely unhelpful. Don’t try to call/contact them for anything especially important things because they won’t answer or call you back for months. They are charging ridiculous amounts as of the recent rent increase, for outdated and problem riddled apartments. Rent from anywhere else in Marquette!"

"Very welcoming! Staff were super helpful and true to what they state. Anytime we had any problems, maintenance was there ASAP. In the winter, were great at plowing and making it possible to get in/out. All utilities included. Highly recommend!"

"I lived here for a year and it was an amazing experience. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Any time I had a problem, someone was there very quickly. They were always very respectful as well. I also loved that the apartments are kind of secluded. The owners were very caring and truly wanted to make sure this was a home for you. I honestly wish I didn't have to move away because I loved living there."
