"Great location a little tricky on where the lobby was. But room was clean and set up very well and simply decorated. Lobby was large and spacious, very welcoming. Staff was incredibly friendly. Parking was well set and plenty of space to back out and was a reasonable price as well."
"This is an awesome little motor inn! The room we stayed in was recently renovated and everything was super clean. The the design elements and color schemes are lively and super retro, but in a way that feels welcoming, familiar and pleasant. There are a plethora of cable channels and streaming apps on the TV (which is great in the UP because the weather is going to get angry). The pool, spa and sauna are also incredibly clean and super comfortable and were great after we'd been out all day. The staff was incredibly friendly no matter who it was. We would definitely stay again"
"Our stay at the Cedar Motor Inn was absolutely amazing! All the staff were beyond kind and extremely helpful. Our room was so cute, clean, and had a renovated retro vibe! The internet was speedy and got to watch cable TV which we don’t have at home. Plus we had the option to stream our favorite shows. The hot tub, pool, and sauna were clean and relaxing and the perfect addition to warm up our winter adventure."
"We live in town but have utilized the pool/hot tub/sauna area for our kids’ birthday parties. It’s an awesome place for this. Tons of room for the kids to play and have fun. A clean changing area/bathroom for them to change and it even has a shower for those that want to get the chlorine off of them before leaving. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!"
"I recently stayed at the Cedar Motor Inn. I booked a single room with a double bed as I was simply looking for an inexpensive, one-night stay. Room was clean and tidy. Very minimalistic in decor, but more was not necessary. Service wasn't the best. It was a slow night, but the desk manager didn't even acknowledge me while talking to another customer on the phone. A simple, "Hello. I'll be with you shortly" would have sufficed while I waited over ten minutes to check in. Also, there was poor signage for the location of the lobby. Having arrived after dark, I had to ask another guest where to go to check in."
