"While the building is old, the new owners have been steadily improving things and replacing fixtures as needed and as possible. With the former owners, months could pass before a work order was filled, if ever. Now, any repairs are handled in the same week, if not the same day. My thermostat gave out and an electrician was here the next morning. The only complaints I have are remnant issues from the prior building owners, which are gradually being resolved. The laundry is coin operated and quite serviceable. Studio apartments have mini refrigerators instead of full sized fridges, which is fine for one person. The current owners/managers are very respectful, responsive, and professional. I would absolutely recommend these apartments if you're looking for an affordable place."
"Absolute horrible living and the new company is a complete joke. I was pestered with phone calls to get my apartment clean and was told that if I dont I wont get my security deposit back. So now two states away I have someone go and clean the apartment EVEN THOUGH they told me to not worry about it cause they are gonna remodel it, that they now are keeping my security deposit and rent cause of how long it took to find someone to clean it. TRASH. The apartments are absolutely garbage and so is the company. DO NOT RENT HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR DEPOSIT!!!!"
"They are not the newest apartments in town and they are probably due for renovation. However they are affordable and close to campus and down town. Coming from Phoenix where the only affordable housing is outside of society; I'm happy marquette has options in town that meet my current financial position. I'm giving these apartments 4 stars. I'd give them five if the windows were insulated and the stove wasn't from 1974."
"You get what you pay for. Paid a cleaning fee, only to enter an apartment that wasn't cleaned. Landlords could care less about ensuring the lot is properly plowed in the winter, caused a lot of problems with the other tenants as well as myself. Appliances are very old, my oven had two settings: undercooked, or well done. Minifridge is all you get provided. Hot water is sometimes hit or miss.Third floor did stay comfortably warm in the winter, with a low electric bill. My advice, choose this place only if you have exhausted all other options in Marquette."
