"Superb! Stayed in one of the king suites with sitting room & kitchen. Spotlessly clean, warm, cozy, well-appointed. The furnishings and design are pleasingly simple and good quality and there are unexpected little touches throughout, such as the fully functional kitchen. Would absolutely stay again!"
"Great place. The owner lives close by, so he arrived 5 minutes after I called requesting a room. He was friendly and gave some local information about roads, employers, the hours of the local establishments (including the Lumberjack Tavern, site of a murder described in the book and movie, "Anatomy of a Murder" starring Jimmy Stewart, Lee Remick, and George C. Scott, filmed on-site in little ol' Big Bay). The room was excellent. Clean, modern. Small fridge, A/C, very clean bathroom. The wifi was a little slow but considering Big Bay is at the end of the earth, I have no complaint. Great place to stay, excellent value. Gas, general store, laundromat, restaurant, and the Lumberjack are within walking distance. Highly recommend the Big Bay Motel."
"Have stayed here several times through the years. New owners have made this nice little motel even nicer. Clean, comfortable rooms with big bathrooms. The king suite is great with a really comfortable king bed. Will definitely be staying here in the future."
