"Checked in On Sunday and had a very important business meeting in Marquette first thing Monday morning. When we tried to shower there was no hot water available to shower and no one seemed to think this was an issue. The staff said they would try to find the problem but that didn't help for the 9 am meeting we needed to attend. At the least I would have expected a room discount however nothing was offered. They did however let us know maybe if we checked the hotel down the street they may be able to let us shower at their location for a small fee. OMG!!!"

"I have never checked out of a place so dang early before but holy buckets. The people above us so dang loud all night I woke up three times to them stomping around like a elephant is in there. Like it's 4:30 just please go to bed. You don't need to be yelling to each other in a hotel room. I just wanna sleep but couldn't so. Just be aware when staying here."

"It was a nice Hotel. It's older, but nice and clean. Staff was great. Pool and Jacuzzi was awesome! The one MAJOR complaint: Food. I ordered a damn near $20 half pound hamburger. It wasn't even a quarter pound (and yes, I know they shrink a bit in cooking.). I'd be surprised if it was even a quarter pound BEFORE cooking. A few fries. Definitely didn't get our Moneys worth. My Wife and Daughter had Chicken Fingers and donated some of their Supper and Fries to me so I at least got full. First time there, and picked it because we are Wyndham members and BECAUSE of the on site Restaurant and Bar. Undecided if we will go back next time. Hotel part was great, too bad the Restaurant/Bar wasnt"

"We arrived on Friday night after an 8 hour drive to check in. Everything seemed OK and they told us they were putting us in the "Auxiliary Building". Get the keys and walk over. Open the door to the building and get hit with a musk - like damp nasty basement smell. Figure who cares if the room is fine. As we are walking down the hallway we see visible water damage lines on the bottoms of each door. Open the door to our room and the smell is unbearable. I've lived in a college house with 8 other guys. I've been deployed oversees in an Alaskan tent. I know what nasty smells like. But this was on a whole other level. It was obvious there was prior water damage to the building that was not properly remediated - which carries some pretty serious health risks (mold, etc). Obviously we had to find other accommodation and did not stay in that room. We've been waiting for weeks for a refund with no follow-up. Every time I call they act like it is the first they are hearing of it. If you do stay here and they say you are getting put in the Auxiliary Building - RUN!"

"Rooms are very large, especially by modern hotel standards in my experience. Rooms have mini fridges, irons and ironing boards. Parking is good. There are some rooms only accessible by stairs. Not a problem for me but worth noting. It's a nice older hotel that has been updated. I really enjoyed my stay there. It was easy to walk downtown and easy to get places. The local food co-op is just down the street. It's a dated hotel design with the pool in the center and the rooms around the pool. So you do have a pool smell and some humidity in the hallways. Not my favorite thing but easily overlooked. My window did look directly across the parking lot to the rear windows of an apartment. The only curtain was a blackout curtain so a translucent curtain would have been nice for privacy and daylight."
