"I travel every week, stayed in many different hotels, by far this is the worst. For the first time in my life I have a guest opening my hotel door at 3:15 am. Both of us were in shock like how come they gave us the same room. Regardless of how rude the front desk lady, Lauren. She over charged me by $982. Claiming that my booking wasn’t paid for. At the end I had to call Expedia and proof to get that she doesn’t know anything about her job and the funny part she claims to be the manager on duty. There’s plenty of choices around if you are in a business trip but stay away from this hotel."
"The staff here were all super friendly and they even upgraded us to a room with an incredible view! The room was had was new, modern, and very comfortable. And we had a gorgeous view of the lake! Slept well, room was quiet, and overall had a wonderful stay."

"My husband and I spent the weekend here for the marathon. The location is in easy walking distance of everything we needed. The rooms are average, but a big shout out to Clara (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) at the IHOP express counter. She is such a bright spirit and always made us smile!"
"Really spacious and impressive renovated rooms and helpful and friendly front desk staff! The hotel is going through a renovation, and the new rooms are some of the best in the Marriott portfolio for a stay in Detroit - especially at this price point! The room itself felt so large it could have fit a second king sized bed in it, in addition to the sofa bed. The hotel is also on the Millender stop of the Detroit People Mover tram, which is very cute and worth a ride for the views, even if it’s probably faster to just walk into downtown. Staff were super friendly and helped me figure out the tram and other tourist activities, and handled all the influx of guests for the Lions game very impressively."
