Dollar General

"Small and cramped, doesn't look very clean. Good for a forgotten item or quick purchase such as greeting card, Kleenex, etc. *2023 update: store moved to a new location, outside is trashiest place I have ever seen. Strewn all over the parking lot & behind the store. Looks like they just opened the doors & tossed. Easily several trash bags worth of junk. Inside the aisles are piled with boxes of merchandise waiting to be shelved."

"The first thing I noticed when pulling in was the huge amount of trash. There's trash in the parking lot, beside the parking lot, and right beside the building. For crying out loud there's trash that I had to step over to even enter Dollar General! Once inside I was immediately and warmly greeted by the cashier. Wandering through the store, the chaos is obvious. More trash, empty packages that have missing items and back stock crowd the aisles. Merchandise is tossed in places that boggles the mind. Aisles including the shelves and floor are cluttered and over filled so it's difficult to see what is actually there. The other employee (Tu..) was on the phone while stocking shelves. Unfortunately it was impossible to not hear the phone conversation and the words chosen were not fit for everyone to hear. In short, she was upset about some expired food in her personal refrigerator. Definitely not professional. Finished up the trip with the same sweet, kind and professional cashier. She's a good one and perhaps the best part of the trip. Might stop by again just to see if things improve but otherwise I would skip this one."

"Not a shopper there, but I find the site in general to be disgusting. Refuse to frequent an establishment that does nothing to pick up litter and debris generated by their own existence. This displays no pride whatsoever of being a positive business in a neighborhood."

"Was not busy, found some great prices on certain items, and the casher was extremely helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Its very nice to see employees during these trouble times very friendly and kind and willing to go that extra mile to make the customer happy, they hired a real person who cares about the customer. This was morning shift on a week day and she deserves a raise. I'll be back just because of her willingness to go beyond just cashing you out."

"The store has a lot to offer from frozen foods to seasonal items. Great place to go for a quick run instead of the box stores. Store is new and clean, though I thought not very bright inside. This is your typical DG. Staff greeted me at the door and were courteous at checkout. I thought prices were somewhat high, but convenience is key. There is a fair amount of trash/litter east of their new building."
