"I have been shopping at Midtown for years. I was stopped at the door and told I could not have my back on and would have to leave it at the counter. Every time I shop there I have my backpack on. When I spoke to Bob, the manager, he said, because he didn't recognize me, I had to leave my backpack at the counter. I'm sure if I carried a large purse, as I'm sure many shoppers do, this would not be an issue."
