"We love Dr. B, Kellie, and all the EDAH staff! We have been coming to them for many years and they always take amazing care of all our animals. They take the time to know you and your pets by name and really love the animals they help everyday. They also make it very easy to reach someone and get an appointment. The office is very cute (fish tank for the kitties), clean, and you never have to wait long to be seen. I am so thankful for EDAH and recommend them to anyone who needs a wonderful vet!"

"Just imagine watching your baby bleed out and being told by the front desk to deal with it on your own. That's exactly what just happened to me. We have been raised that our pets are members of our families, so why does this vet only care about profit and convenience? Not only was the receptionist uncaring about my 9 yrs old dog bleeding out, she also refused to schedule an emergency visit because they were "booked up today" and then put me BACK in hold after telling me to wait for my vet to reopen tomorrow morning and not a single question asked about my dogs condition. Apparently you're not supposed to worry about your pets if the vet is too busy, only when the business needs the ledger to balance. I wish I could give - ⭐ for the uncaring attitude of your front office."

"Please choose any other vet than this place. They are rude, downright neglectful & don't care about animals or anyone for that matter. I took my cat here & they said I should put her down. I got a second opinion from another vet & she is just fine. They didn't care at all. The other vet prescribed some medication & my cat has been well every since. I noticed that all the bad reviews have them replying that they aren't that hospital. East Detroit Animal hospital is the place I speak of. I know where I went! You've been warned. Don't trust these people with your pet."

"This office is amazing! Very sanitary and comfortable for my cat! Love the doctor and the staff…you can tell they love what they do! I used to go to a Veterinarian in commerce (out of convenience) but from now on, it will be East Detroit Animal Hospital! Worth the drive for the care and compassion my baby got! Can not thank Dr. DeShamma (sp?) enough! Very kind and knowledgeable! Very highly recommend!"

"The worst vet experience I've ever had. I wish I could rate lower. The new owners of East Detroit Animal hospital on Gratiot in Eastpointe are by far the worst vet I've ever encountered. My dog died because they gave him the wrong medication twice. By the time they recognized the mistake, it was too late. All they said was sorry, then tried to blame me. The doctor is really old & mean. If you love your pet, take them somewhere else. All their new reviews are bad. The good ones come from the original owner, not these new people. They are butchers! They should be closed down!"
