Chevy Chase Park Apartments

"This is a sad environment. The apartments have a lot of bugs, for example huge water bugs. The manger is mean spirited. Maintenance didn't fixed anything really and when they did fixed stuff at my place they disfigured the stuff. The property looks dirty. Some of the kids are out of control. Again think hard before moving here."

"Staff is rude and unfriendly. They rarely fix anything and when they do it is poorly done. They “lose” paperwork so copy everything! Dumpsters are always overflowing. Garbage all over. Kids run wild and curse and fight. The only thing good about this place is location and school district."

"This place seems to look pretty but inside its horrible. They NEVER fix anything. They only care about money. They only have inspections of the apartments they want to show that are updated for the banks and for the government funding. Ridiculous. Most of the apartments have mold, water leaks, front doors not staying closed, I lived there almost 3 years. And couldn’t wait to leave. They never once fixed my leaking broken toilet upstairs, or my leaking sink in the kitchen. (3 years of leaking! The hole bottom was rotten and falling apart, and black mold) basement flooded multiple times. And nothing was done. Smelt like mildew and mold for over 2 years. Our neighbors moved out. Due to bugs and being a slumlord. When I say bugs I mean every single bug possible! Ridiculous! I was told multiple times they had aable come out to spray. Lies! I had cameras in my apartment, never once did anyone show up! Spent almost 300 bucks every few weeks to keep the bugs down until I was able to get out! When I told them I was moving she said “I hope it’s not cause of the bugs” she knew how many times I complained about the bugs and never did anything! The movers wouldn’t touch anything to help me More nor would they help take it to the dumpster. I told Danielle this and she said I could leave it and wouldn’t be charged. Since it’s there fault they never fixed the bugs issues. 3 months later they put a bill on my credit for 1,386. For the charges for things left! I now am taking Chevy chase to court. For being slum lords. For me having to leave every single t.v. Every single decoration, a brand new couch, my kitchen tables, reclining chairs. Pretty much everything for a home that I had to leave. And buy brand new. Due to negligence of them! They also did this to two other neighbors that I happen to have reach out about the same situation. We was told we wouldn’t be charged and bam there it goes on your credit! Please don’t ever ever move here’ they are the lead definition of slum lords and lie and just want your money! They don’t actually try to help you!"

"My experience at Chevy Chase Park Apartments was nothing but wondering and nice. The new management team is wonderful explain my paperwork to me in a way that I can understand and my children LOVE centerville city school. The new management team is wonderful and they go beyond measures to make sure the residents of the community are safe. Thank you Miss Danielle Brooks for always being a great landlord to Chevy chase pArk apartments."

"Ms. Paula and Ms. Debbie are the best ever! If it wasn't for them helping me and this apartment complex, I would still be living in a dark, dreary basement with my 11 year old son. They have so many events for the kids and things to do around the holidays. If they can't ansewr or help ...they know someone who can. The neighbors I have are friendly and look out for each other here. I'm so happy to have moved in and be involved with my neighborhood. Just because someone is having a hard time...does not make them below or less than any other human. Thank you Ms. Paula and Ms. Debbie for all that you have helped me with."
