"The staff made one mistake after another even after I checked out. I booked the room online and was given the wrong room when I arrived. Not only that but the room wasn't even clean and the bed was unmade. After changing rooms the WiFi wouldn't work because they never changed my room number in the system. In addition to the WiFi I sought help to book the room a 2nd day and couldn't because they were unable to find my original booking because of the room change. I ended up leaving the 2nd day. About an hour after I left I received a call from the hotel telling me someone was in my room. I said "what?!?!". I couldn't understand how that was possible since my husband & I were both in the truck in a totally different city. The hotel staff was basically threatening me with additional charges if I didn't come remove the people. I was astounded. I ended up calling our credit card company to advise them not to allow any charges to the hotel except my original booking. I had no further contact with this hotel. It's unfortunate because it appeared to be a really nice place. 0 of 10 stars"
"I have to commend the staff at this hotel. Specifically Jennifer, Teresa, Lisa, Shame, Bobby, Roberto and any staff who've I' failed to mention. They make this feel like a home and not just a hotel. Most hotels care about the almighty dollar with little regard for the guests but this place is different. I have finally found a hotel that has heart. The people here really care about their guests and with genuine caring. I have never had an experience with a hotel like I've had with this one. One day I will leave and be on my way but I can honestly say that not only did I have a great stay but I would 'keep" up with these peopl3 because I feel like I've made friends!! Thank you all for your excellent service and I hope the other hotels look to this one for guidance as a well to treat people. They jave been a very bright spot in darker times for us!!!"
"I stayed here a few weeks, and the room I had was unexpectedly nice. I figured since it was more of a long-term living type situation that the rooms would be a bit run down with that lived in Type of look. In my opinion the attention to detail could have been paid more attention too for example the shower was backing up with water because the drain needed to be cleaned out and the shower head did not spray good due to the calcium build up. Both easy fixes. The things that needed cleaned better were no big deal in the grand scheme of things but had they been payed attention to would have easily been fixed and or cleaned. Other than that the stay was among the nicer extended stays I've been in thus far and among the cheapest too for what you get."
"The reviews that I read for this particular place were misleading. Or I read reviews for another hotel with the same name . To start the lady at the desk was nice. But I noticed a smell coming from the upstairs of which I couldn't place it. I could smell it from the desk when checking in . I thought maybe someone had dinner . But it stayed all weekend in which they had a fan trying to blow it away . I got my key card, and they didn't work at first and not on the door close to my room . I was told that the maintenance man was not on duty for the weekend. We finally got into the hallway to our room, and there was a trash can there that smell horrible. I know since the maintenance man would not be there, why say anything. We opened our room and at least it didn't smell. The hotel was or is very old and in need of a serious uplift . Got up on Saturday morning, went for coffee, and a grab and go breakfast, and nothing was there . It is to be from 6 am to 930 .I asked the same clerk, and she said apparently third shift never got it ready . It was 715am. by then . She was about to start it . At that time, she was in a conversation with a person over payment for a room that obviously he was or didn't have the money for . We finally got coffee and the snacks, and I believe the granola bars have been there for some time . We checked out on Sunday, and obviously, the tenants across from 102 didn't care that it was smoke-free and didn't worry that there was a fine of 250$ according to the clerk. I believe that there are a lot of tenants who are local and stay there as their home . I did ask for clean towels, and she gave me a bath towel and a hand towel, which she said was a bath towel . A 5 year old child would have had a problem using it for a bath . We won't be staying there again!!!"
"I don't want to be too hard on this place. I understand what it is and what it isn't. If you want luxury or even nice accommodations this is not the place. It's shelter. Basic shelter. If you are between homes or dog tired and just want to sleep in a bed for a low price, this is your spot. We chose this place because it had a kitchenette, but in my most recent two visits, the stove did not work in either unit. (Maybe that's extra??) It was fairly obvious that someone was or had been smoking marijuana and attempting to cover the odor with another heavy scent. I honestly didn't care about the marijuana but I didn't want to be blamed for causing it because the nice lady at the front desk made it abundantly clear that this was a no smoking building. Some guy was pacing the hallway speaking loudly and clearly angry or frustrated.Later a couple was arguing in the hallway for nearly an hour, off and on. (The same people? I don't know, I didn't look) Dogs barking in more than one room. Some of the rooms don't have carpet, at all. Construction workers and their equipment in the parking lot and making noise early in the morning. The included breakfast is a joke. The kinda place where you wouldn't dare walk around your room barefoot. A slightly sketchy vibe to the whole place. Nothing bad happened, and the staff was great but I couldn't shake the feeling that I was about to be in an episode of LIVE PD. Look, if you and your pets just need to crash until times get better, none of these nuisances add up to a "no go". It is what it is. And that's not necessarily a bad thing."
