"These rooms were the most disgusting rooms I've ever seen. Dust everywhere. Lube on the table. Hair in the sink. Mirror not clean. Breakfast had no water, no juice, no coffee. The tables and floors were disgusting. Trash over flowing."

"The very definition of mediocre. The hotel is branded as a Wingate, but it's definitely not up to corporate standards. From the moment we checked in I was wary. The front desk clerk didn't even greet us, just worked silently and handed over the keys. The building is very run-down and overpriced for what it is; we were clearly charged for the new corporate branding but it hasn't been brought up to their standards. After we walked out to the (filthy) elevator we got upstairs to be greeted by a dirty carpet and a hallway that smelled of cigarettes. We got into the room and while it was MOSTLY clean, you could definitely tell they aren't thorough. The edges of the carpet were covered in dirt and the area behind the toilet was absolutely filthy. We went to turn on the heat and realized that the unit isn't even properly plugged in! There are simply wires lying on the floor, connected with wire nuts. After inspecting the room further we found a wet washcloth in the bathtub and the soap tray was nasty. There was also a sticky substance on the remote. The beds seemed clean enough for us to stay, but while they were advertised as two queens they were definitely not. These were only full-sized beds. In the morning we were greeted by a breakfast counter covered in crumbs, mini donuts that had been sitting out for who knows how long, waffle batter all over the place, dirty tables, and no silverware. Just the cheapest paper plates you can get, and a juice dispenser that doesn't have anything in it. The so-called breakfast left us hungry due to the lack of options. We ended up just eating pre-packaged muffins. All in all it's not the absolute worst stay I've ever had, but it's pretty low on the list and we won't be back."

"The motel was bad, paint peeling, Curtains not hung properly. Door had been kicked in before by the trim & frame. Room was very small, fridge didn't get cold. Elevator was dirty and stinky. We didn't feel comfortable bathing. Paid for 2 nights but the 2nd night we paid again and moved to a better hotel across the street. This motel was listed as a 3star. This was the biggest lie ever. It was a 1 star. Please don't book here expecting a 3star hotel. It's more of a truck stop motel. The front door was hidden. Just bad."

"**If you have kids or a client don't bring them here. My overall experience is disappointing. I'm a native daytonian that booked a weekend stay but I had no idea it was this bad in this location. The rooms aren't cleaned so I suggest that you get some cleaning supplies before you check in. There will be stains on the furniture and on the bed. The comforter, sheets and mattress as well so bring you a sheet or comforter. The carpet may not be vacuumed so you may have to "borrow" one from them. The elevator is broken so you'll have to take the steps. There's only three stairways, on the front and back of building and next to the main office. If you have issues with mobility then you have to walk all the way there.I have a damaged heel. I was on the second floor, on the opposite side so that wasn't fun. There will be people loitering on the stairway and hanging out side. I know it's a hotel but keep this in mind if you have kids, pets or if your a woman. The building is run down. Paint peeling, cement crumbled, pool damaged, elevator broken, out dated appliance and furniture. TV may or may not work. Mine received stations and then would randomly cut off. Air conditioner had filters sitting on the outside, microwave knob was partially missing and the fridge was barely cold. Last night I stepped into what I hope has spilled syrup on the stairway and my sandal came off. I told the front desk about the leak and requested a first floor room. She told me to call back around 1pm after the cleaning lady was done to see if ones available. I will because I need a place to sleep but if they can't get me a 1st floor room then I'm leaving. I'm not paying $75 a night to stay in a place I don't feel comfortable. I'd rather sleep in my car."
