Comfort Inn & Suites

"Located off I-70 and Ste Rt 48, across from the shopping area with resturants nearby, a perfect location between Dayton, Vandalia, Greenville, Write Patt AFB. The hotel suffers from what I will call "India ownership". This one is not so bad but it has only been managed a few years, but it is in a state of decline. The pool was closed, housekeeping and standards appear to be those of people living without dirt floors for the first time. The breakfast was great by Comfort Inn standards, and the staff was friendly. The problems are simply a lack of oversight by corporate enforcing basic expectations of travelers. I do hope Comfort Inn Corporate gets a handle on these new owners and managerment, because it is shame that such a previously wonderful hotel has fallen off in 18 months."

"Overall good experience! front desk staff very helpful presentable! They have all answers for all your questions! We stayed two nights it was very quiet, rooms was very comfortable! We liked lobby so clean and neat! Wil be back when will be in town ! Thank you for your service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"I am very disappointed in the breakfast offered. It used to be fantastic. We come at least once a year sometimes more. This time the cereal was stale, the yogurt went from triple zero and chobani to cheap little mini cups with 14 grams of sugar for 2 spoonfuls. They did not offer any sugar free jams or syrups. The eggs no matter boiled, fried or scrambled tasted off or were burned. The sausage seemed either underdone or burned. Every morning if I ate anything boiled eggs or hot I got a horrible stomach ache for half the day. My husband as well he even got sick from a English muffin cuz the cream cheese was bad. I'm not sure if refrigerated food is thrown out when left sitting outside. I don't know if hot food that is is extra at end if breakfast is dumped like it's supposed to be. All I know is we have stayed here for years with no issues until now. This year every breakfast we ate at hotel made us sick and the selection is cheaper quality and not diabetic friendly at all. Very disappointed. It's really too bad because in the last we have given a great review."

"Our room was clearly not cleaned! There was hair on our bedding, brown gunk on the sink faucet handle, dirt behind the door in the bathroom, and a dirty wash cloth in the shower upon arrival. The toilet seat was broken and barely hanging on. We travel a lot and it just seems these “cheaper” hotels are just that, CHEAP! For $140/night I expect a clean, top notch room. Nobody takes pride in their work anymore it seems. We will not stay here again. We will stay elsewhere. We have had better experiences at a Motel 6 for $75/night."

"Our rooms were clean when we entered. We found that AC and heating units to work very well. Bathroom was very spacious, water pressure and heat were fantastic. TVs could have been better quality, but we barely used them to begin with so not really a big deal. The bed were somehow soft, firm, and lumpy all at the same time and were generally not very comfortable to sleep on. The pillows were the same way. The blankets were very comfortable and warm though. The complimentary breakfast was actually very nice. A good amount of variety, the taste was good, and there was a decent amount of space in the dining area. The pool was very cloudy and reeked of chlorine, somehow both too clean and too dirty. It's also a small pool area, and it's weird that it's so close to the lobby."
