"Recently, I had a personal experience with Amhurst Apartments and their management team while helping a client look for an apartment. I have worked with a lot of apartment communities, property management companies, and housing organizations over the years and have NEVER had a team that made such a great effort to help a potential resident. They were professional, quick to respond, and willing to communicate and answer all of my questions. My hats off to Carla, Delaney, and Lisa! Thank you so much for setting the standard of what genuine compassion, true customer service, and effective communication looks like. It was definitely a long process with several modifications and date extensions but your tireless efforts made it work for my client. I truly appreciate all of you and hope that you will continue to help individuals find confidence in securing stable housing. She is so excited to move in to her new place! "I read all the reviews in full. Most are not even relevant. They have repaved the whole parking lot for all the apartments and they did it right. They fixed my maintenance request in a timely matter and the ladies in the office were so nice and sweet and the maintenance did a great job and it wasn't a two second fix. I am very impressed with the clean apartment and reasonable rent with lots and lots of parking which most apartments don't have. I have found that most bad things that were in the reviews is just not the case at least for me. I would 100% recommend this place."

"I just got an apartment here. Staff was very nice and answered all my questions from trash dumpster and mailbox location to local restaurants. Maintenance manager introduced himself when putting a new lock on my door, very nice. Apartment was very clean, floors shampooed and walls freshly painted. There was a lil stain on the carpet and they asked if it needed replaced or if it was fine and it was fine. They were very forward about the rules and apartment was well cleaned. I'll add pictures when I finish unpacking. I met a couple of my neighbors and they had nothing bad to say about the place. I feel at home and sleep very good here. I had an appliance that needed replaced when I moved in I had a temporary one here and they ordered me a brand new one and installed it today. I put in a request and a new one was ordered and installed within two weeks but I never had to go without one. I think that was reasonable for a brand new appliance and I had a temporary one while waiting. I can't ask for more."

"If you want a place with a maintenance team this is not the place. My places shower broke in early July we still had running water just no shower. We put in to work orders to fix the shower, called every other week, and went to the office. Still nothing over 4 months later. Just the empty promises to call or email us back with an update. The only reason we've been given for this long wait is they got a new maintenance team that started in September. Update: the order has been delayed according to the email they sent out Update: our shower was repaired just before Christmas. Just in time for them to break our screen door when they tried to fix it."

"Stay away. They do not maintain their units. The office is almost never staffed. The only time you will hear from them is when rent is due. My roof leaked from the day I moved in. I had 4 maintenance requests related to this and the management closed all of them claiming it was already fixed. They will also way overbill you for water. I was paying $70/month for water in a 1 bedroom apartment with one person. They always had excuses for not fixing things and blamed the old management for everything. They also will raise your rent as soon as your lease is up so don't be fooled by the cheap prices you see starting out. Slum lords at their worst."
