Catalpa Crossing Apartments

"These apartments are ran by an unprofessional group of individuals that live in New Jersey. I’ve never had to deal with anything like this in my life. The units all have BLACK MOLD in them. The mold has damaged my furniture, clothes, shoes, and luggage. So the owner thinks it’s smart to just bleach the mold stains and continue to fix the outside of the apartments. Instead of give all of tenants affected by mold an refund and corentine the whole complex. Then we have A/C unit in all units and a lot of them don’t work and owner told tenants to buy window air conditioning instead of fixing the A/C unit. They don’t have any reliable or professional maintenance workers. They hire anyone off the street to be the maintenance guy. They’ll come into your home to see what the problem is and never come back to correct the issue. The parking is horrible. The dumpster are always overflowing into the parking lot. A lot of drug activity throughout the night. They don't provided any handicap parking or handicap accessible anything for there tenants with disabilities. Plumbing is bad in a lot of the units sewage waste always back up into units. They will rent you an apartment that you think is in perfect condition until you start getting sick from the mold. I wouldn’t advise anyone to ever rent from Catapla Crossing it may look nice and quiet on the outside but looks can be deceiving."

"Because of its location of Turner and it's surround by trees you don't get any foot traffic. Which cuts down on nuisances and crime. It's cheap and the management helps whenever needed."

"The townhome itself is nice and has a very spacious master bedroom but the property manager is the worst!!! She is very rude and disrespectful. The walls are EXTREMELY thin.. you can hear your neighbors convos clear as day... as if they are in the same room with you. The parking is terrible and the complex manager will give you a ticket if you are parked in the wrong spot. If there was somebody else managing the place it wouldnt be a terrible but she just ruins it."

"Catalpa Crossing is an excellent community to live in. I give it as many stars as I possibly can give it. The parking can be challenging at times in all honesty. Other than that, very nice community. The management is Johnnie on the spot when I have had any problems I've had. Very well kept community. Oliver is an excellent, friendly and hard working manager who seems to take pride in everything he does for this entire apartment complex. I highly recommend anyone who has an excellent rental history to come here. Not much for deposit either. No pests at all no matter where u go. Its so quiet over here that you just wouldn't believe others stay here until u here someone shutting their apartment door to leave. Dont want anyone to pop up on you or make it too easy to find u? Catalpa Crossing is very discreet and off the beaten path to say the least. Its hard enough to need directions but with help, its easy enough to find any apartment. The other tenants mind their business for the most part. Its also a community of helpful neighbors who watch each others backs. Very friendly neighbors. Near many eating places, grocery store, gas stations, pizza delivery and drug stores. Near the bus line. Great internet connectivity apartment. Bills are very inexpensive. Very competitive rent. U get your bang for the bucks. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 9 of 10."
