Motel 6 North Olmsted, OH

"This place is a joke actually. The toilet was backed up when I got in the room, so I called the front desk for assistance. I was told to come to the front desk for a plunger and fix it myself. Which I did because I already paid to stay the week and don't have the money to pay for a different hotel. Next, everything that goes on in the others rooms you hear. Very frustrating at 2am. Last I was never told what amenities are available to me during my stay and was never told where to find the ice machine or laundry areas. Basically the rude man at the front desk took my money and handed me a key for the room and that was it. For the cost of this motel, I definitely believe it should be handling the maintenance as well as informing customers what amenities are available to them during their stay. Not everyone Google's before they decide where to stay. This was an emergency stay and it was the closest to where I needed to be at the time. Rooms are clean. That's literally the only other reason besides where it's located that I would have anything nice to say about this Motel 6."

"First we noticed the strong scent of cleanser, followed immediately by the strange noise of our footsteps as the floor was left sticky. Apparently straight pine sol like cleanser was used on the floor and left there, which began to irritate my sinuses because who can withstand that much surface area covered with undiluted cleanser in an enclosed space?! Sinuses were scoured so severely that two days later was still having headaches from it. Am certain the bed was made from same granite as the bathroom counter, which was visibly grimy and filthy with hair hanging out in the basin and hairs visible in the towels. When complained to front desk was told it was impossible my room was in such a dirty condition when quite clearly not only was it possible but it happened. The combative and rude desk clerk only deepened the overall sour of this experience. I knew when I saw the color scheme that this place was a bad idea. If you're into filthy accommodation, sleeping on rocks, and being extremely uncomfortable while someone who can barely speak English talks to you like you're an idiot then you're in luck, they may still have a few available rooms."

"Have stayed here a few times, its been fine aside from the expected cigarette smell in smoking rooms. The towel rack is loose tho and fell off when i tried placing a towel on it for a shower. Thats fine though as its a low cost to stay but I'm most upset i didnt get the deposit refund on the last stay. I throw all the trash and place together for easy removal. All towels together for easy gather. And eve toss used soap bars away, the only thing i dont do is obviously make the bed as the sheets should be washed every time. So where was my deposit refund???"

"5 star stay. When people think of Morel 6…. Well, it doesn’t have the best reputation. We were desperate to find a place that would accommodate 5 of us and 5 dogs, so we needed 3 rooms. That in itself gets expensive! Motel 6 has a “pets stay free” policy so sometimes it’s just easier when traveling. This Motel 6 far supersedes any other one and rivals most more expensive places. Bobby was super nice and accommodating. Our rooms were super spacious with mini kitchens and comfy beds. Everything was clean, fresh and the grounds were clean and well lit. We used the laundry facility, which was immaculate and has an excellent commercial washer and dryer for guest use…BONUS! 10/10 would stay here again."
