"On 12/5/23, at about 1:30 pm,I went to deposit 4 checks into my MMA. The staff member at the middle window left me standing for about 3 minutes while she was having a conversation with 2 of her co-workers. Finally, she acknowledged my presence. I asked her to deposit the 4 checks into my account. I provided my military ID as proof of identity. She didn't seem to know the military ID and kept looking at it. Finally, she said she had to see my face. 5hus, she asked me to remove my face mask. I explained to her that due to underlying conditions, I could not take it off. She said she could not deposit the checks on my account. I explained to her that I was not asking her for any cash or any receipts for the checks. She conferred with 2 of her co-workers. Finally, she agreed to accept the checks. Then, she said she could not accept 2 of the checks because they were not made out to me. I tried to explain to the staff member that the checks were properly endorsed and the account was a joint account. However, she and her 2 coworkers said that the checks could not be deposited. She handed me the checks back... I left after wasting over 15 minutes at this useless branch of the Suncoast credit union. Unbeknown to her, I have done this type of transaction at several locations from the same financial institution and none of the staff members had any issues accepting my deposit. I have moved almost $200k out of this financial institution as their customer service continues to deteriorate. The employees seem to make their own rules and decline services that other staff members have completed with no issues"
