"I want to tell you that if you care about your money, do not go to this place. I lived there for two years, which was probably the worst decision. They will add charges for things that you should have been informed about, increasing the rates without you knowing, and in the end, you have to pay an extra $50 for utilities. Additionally, after trying to figure out why our water bill went up over time, no one lived in our apartment; we were informed that the water bill was split between all residents in the complex. If you are a guy who takes 5-minute showers and does laundry once a week, you will pay the same rate as any girl who takes 30-minute showers every day and does laundry every two days. Many other fees were never mentioned when I started my lease, and I don't know if it's legal, but when I signed my first lease, I only paid for water and electricity. There are five things they have "just" added, like sewer fees, some bio fees, etc. Lastly, I would love to tell you what happens if you want to move out before your lease ends. In that case, you must pay $300 to re-let feel, which is still understandable. However, it is not understandable that this re-let fee is just for Plaza to take your money, and it does not include ANY work. It does not include that they must go to your room and check if everything is fine. After I moved out, they went to check my apartment, and I cleaned everything except the LED lights below my bed, which I had forgotten about. Guess what? I have been charged 75 dollars for every side of the bed + 130 dollars for the head of the bed. In total, it is like $300 for an LED light strip!!!! This is just ridiculous. Thankfully, I am not coming to the United States anytime soon, so I wished them good luck with getting $300 for LED lights after paying you over the years so much money and even fees that no one was ever informed about. Guys, please avoid this place if you can :)"

"I recently made very good reviews about this place but the longer I’ve lived here the harder it is to look away at all the negative things about Plaza. Don’t even bother calling the leasing office once you’ve become a resident. They will not answer. I’ve called a million times and have left emails upon emails only to have never gotten a reply. I had to go down to the leasing office to speak to them and even then they weren’t able to answer my questions. Right now, I have gotten an email during closed office hours time stating I have a package. Not me or my roommates are in town to pick it up. I tried to call the office today since it’s the first day they’re open since I got the email but no answer. They throw away packages after they have been sitting for 72 hours. It’s been 58. If I have no way of calling to let them know someone else is picking it up they will not let it go with anyone else. They truly need to fix this problem with the phones, it’s incredibly to me how there are so many workers and I have not once gotten a call back. The one time I did get a call back was a clueless woman doing a routine call and asking if I wanted to release. NO, I HAVE QUESTIONS! I do see cockroaches every once in a while and I didn’t think it was much of a problem until I came back home. I’ve never seen a cockroach at my permanent address. The day I came back home from plaza, we saw 3 cockroaches. Theirs is absolutely no way I can deny there is a VERY BIG cockroach infestation in all of the buildings. Think you’re lucky getting a building with no restaurants? Think again. It’s just as bad. I don’t know a single person who is a current resident and actually likes Plaza. None of my roommates are renewing their leases especially now that there are charging even more next year as they’re taking out the carpeting in all the rooms. If I wanted to pay more, I’d live at the accolades. Similar price, brand new building, same location. Lucky I wasn’t in town but for the past two week, my roommates have had to go to a laundromat. Our washer has been broken, “fixed”, and broke again multiple times. Paying extra in rent to have in unit laundry machines isn’t worth it when you still have to pay extra to do your laundry at a laundromat. I no longer park in the parking garage either. I have witnessed countless accidents including someone hitting my own car. I was lucky to have witnessed that because they were about to drive away too. The parking garage gate also malfunctioned last month. If your car was parked in the garage and you had work/class, too bad you can’t leave. On top of all of this, the walls are incredibly thin. I can hear the person above my room talking on the phone. I don’t only hear my neighbor, I CAN HEAR THE PERSON ON THE PHONE. I’m telling you, lease somewhere else. Leasing here for a short summer semester would’ve been fine, but for the whole year? Don’t waste your money."

"Great place to lease at, staff was always friendly and welcoming in order to fix any issues. Safety is great, I have never had issues with noisy neighbors or anything at all. The leasing office does a great job of maintaining order in the space. Truthfully a place I will miss to live at and spend time at. Only complain I have is the electricity bill was coming out higher than usual when both my roomate and I were absent but the office took care of it. Greatest student housing complex when you take into account convenience and location!"

"This review is for the shops around this place, not the apartments. This is a really nice place with lot of food options. We love Blaze Pizza and Insomnia Cookies in this location. The place is well maintained and clean. The location is bustling with people!"
