Four finalists will be flown to Atlanta in August for coaching from celebrity mentors and a finale taping at a special venue where the winner will be crowned. Other prizes include giveaways, trips, and more. The grand prize winner will receive an entire year of free rent and studio time with a Grammy-award-winning producer.

"I am very fed up with living here, and I moved here 3 months ago. I knew I was moving in to somewhere that was an older building with downgraded appliances but this is getting beyond ridiculous. When I first moved in I noticed a mildew odor that I thought would just go away with time. I bought plug in febreeze plugs and spray my apartment, never went away. My patio screens fall apart whenever there is a breeze. I complained about the beat up cabinets, floor boards, and mirrors in the pictures. They said they would replace them and haven’t heard a word. My first couple of nights sleeping here I woke up with me an my bed damp both nights being very confused. There is access moister that gets into the apartment. I have to leave my fans and dehumidifier on 24/7, along with placing moister pods everywhere in the apartment pictured as well. They are already filled with 3 of them being in my bedroom alone. Even after all of this, I still came to peace with it and just decided to deal with it even thought I’m paying $1,600 for my 1 bedroom apartment. But this is what pushed me over the edge. I just got home from a 8 hour shift and smelled something off in my room. After an hour of not knowing what it is, I finally found a puddle of water on the floor near the window. My bed cover most of that side and it was hard to notice. The water covers up a quarter of the bedroom floor and has a rotten smell. I found out that the apartment next to me had a busted pipe. They didn’t address the issue, came to my place Monday to look at the spot and left. I guarantee the smell I have had when I first moved in is mold not addressed from water damage and it is going to happen again. With me being allergic to mold, probably not the best situation to be in. All and all, there are much better places than this for that price point."
"I’m writing this honest review & hopefully it doesn’t put a target on my stay here but I will say the staff Mary Ann & Misty are super helpful and welcoming which is truly why I gave any stars. Moving forward, the first apartment I was scheduled to move into is roach infested and was not clean at all… which I asked multiple times could I view the unit prior to move in (now I see why I was told No!) so I was given another option to move in to a different apartment which I accepted but I can’t lie I’ve been crying since 1/13/2024 :( So this apartment doesn’t have roaches but the sinks, bathtubs, doors, walls n etc have just been painted over vs just making proper repairs & replacing old appliances due to wear n tear over the years… the doors and paint job in the apartment are horrible (again just sloppy painting over things that can be replaced or refurbished the CORRECT way) For the price and the pictures on line this is not what I expected at all… everything is outdated and it just doesn’t feel like home for me & my family. Again I’ve been crying since I’ve moved in. I truly wish I could have actually viewed the apartment before move in to know what I was getting myself into. I was not expecting luxury but I was expecting a nice clean apartment that is worth the rent I’m paying Again the office staff are very helpful n kind. But these apartments are definitely outdated for the price & looks nothing like the online photos."
"I was in a rush to look for a new apartment. Misty Stephen, the leasing agent, gave me and my father a tour of the community and showed us a 2/2 Bradford floor plan model. Misty was very friendly and explained everything clearly. We applied the next week and got approved. Maryanne, the Property Manager, called to tell us the good news, and both she and Misty kept in constant contact and were very responsive to all my questions and concerns. The complex is lovely. You can tell it is an older complex built in the 1990s, but the apartments are nice, decent, and clean. I also noticed that the grounds, landscaping, and community amenities are well-maintained and immaculate. The complex has two pools and a gym. The Amazon Hub locker is also a plus and added convenience. I love the apartment size; it is roomy and has no carpet since it is a ground-floor unit, which is a plus. The complex also has gated access, which is a nice feature. I wanted to give the office and maintenance staff a shout-out that ensured the unit was clean and move-in ready. The unit had only two minor issues: the master bedroom toilet seat was broken, and the dishwasher was leaking. However, when I notified the staff, they came the same day and fixed and resolved the minor issue. After a nightmare situation with my previous complex, I had to rush and move out. I was very conscious about everything. All my worries have been settled, and I look forward to my tenancy here."
"I had a very last minute noticed of a family issue and I needed an apartment in an emergency time period. I arrived without a notice to Arium and was greeted and assisted by Tomiris and within minutes I found an apartment that I was looking for and she explained and helped me to the point of everything being done and set to go the same day! She’s amazing and this place is blessed to have her. P.S. The place itself is super quiet and peaceful, pretty and in a great location."
"I believe in honest reviews. Let me first start by saying I had great expectations for this place considering how nice the complex appears and staff are. Unfortunately, I was proven wrong and was immensely mislead. Not only were we denied viewing the apartment due to “renovations,” but was given an apartment literally out of a horror movie. When I moved in, these apparent “renovations” were still being done. Moved in with missing kitchen cabinets, which were to be upgraded. Unprofessional. Should have been done prior to move in. Upon entering, there were critters everywhere! Literally. No exaggeration. Opened the door, one feel from top of door. Roaches in and out of outlets. Crawling on walls and onto our bed. Within kitchen cabinets, closets, and within our boxes we moved in. Renovators replaced painted cabinet doors with dead roaches still within cabinet. Even had a roach give birth in the bathtub. Roach baby sacs everywhere. Absolutely disgusting! The assistant property manager refused to acknowledge the existing roach issue. Instead, pretended she did not know of the problem. With the amount of roaches seen on move in day, there is no way you wouldn’t know this place is filled with them. Best for last of course.There were blood stains on the wall! Did the roaches kill the last tenant? I’m confused. When mentioned to the assistant property manager, the response I got was, “It looks like fresh blood.” Not sure what she meant or intended. Nonetheless, no offer was made to assess the situation or clean it up. Per the assistant property manager Leslie, her and maintenance supervisor walked through the apartment and noted none of these problems. As I write this review, I am still having a pest control problem. Consider moving elsewhere. Being a 30-year-old community is no excuse for a horrendous apartment such as this one. Although some of my issues were resolved, I wanted to make others aware of the type of complex Valencia Plantation is. One that does not care of how properties are presented to residents."
