"Current resident. You are being warned - there were electrical fires because of a repair the management has put off for a long time. Do not rent out the 2bd 2 bath building. Issue still not fixed. Started off as just flickering lights, turned into power surges that blew out appliances, surge protectors, lights, and one actually caught fire in unit 109. We all have belongings that need replaced. Edit to add- the owner responded not knowing of the fire. I have photos of the hole burned in the carpet. They knew and they said not to call the fire department because the tenants used the fire extinguisher. Also, the main problem has NOT been repaired and I’m still waiting on the management company to get back to me on when it WILL get repaired. They only did a temporary fix. They need to replace the meters. Disregard their entire comment because it was a lie."

"Was given hope to get into a 2/2 and was told that we could get a call if anyone got in and nothing. Went to the place and find out its rented. No emotion from management or help to get into another one. Terrible service. Pick in choose who they want. Ugh."

"For over 3 weeks, I provided every piece of information that was requested of me to management. After losing my messages in the archives, (how can you lose messages when it's archived?) I had to keep providing the information time in and time out. Management barely returned calls back and I had to go there multiple times on my lunch break, after work, even asking to take time off to resolve this. I was told the reason I had to jump through so many hoops was because I had no credit, which is understandable, however if I hadn't provided the information at least 3 times and have to call to make sure that management got in contact with my previous rental history and work history (both of which stated I was exemplary renter/employee) it may have never gotten done. After all was said and done, I was told I was approved and to come in and fill out paperwork on Monday, February 29th and that once I paid the first month and security deposit on Tuesday, March 1st I would be handed the keys. On Monday when I went in there to sign the lease, I was told nothing was ready and to come back the next day with a copy of the bill from Duke electricity saying it was paid and that electricity was on and the money, and that the security deposit was being discussed and they were waiting to hear if it would $300 or $400. I asked if they could please call me in the morning, as I work full time, so I could have everything ready by the time I got off work. Management promised they would call me at 9 in the morning on Tuesday. Once I paid the security deposit for the electricity to be turned on, I called to get the amount I needed to pay the next day so I could get the money on my lunch break which is from 12-1 normally. I DIDN'T RECIEVE A CALL UNTIL 1:30 STATING THAT THEY NEEDED A 500 DOLLAR DEPOSIT NOW AND ASKED ME "IF I WAS SITTING DOWN FOR THIS". I was upset, but was willing to pay. After sharing my frustration with management about the untimely manner they handled the situation with and with a price increase, I was told that they would not do business with me due to my behavior. I remained calm the whole time after dealing with every single delay and loss of information and downright refusal to do one's job. So after I already had paid for the electricity to be turned on I was stuck with that loss of money and now no entry into the place I was told I was approved for. I honestly feel bad for whoever owns these apartments because the property manager there is atrocious. So as a token of good faith, I went there today, WITH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY NEEDED AND A COPY OF DUKE ENERGY'S BILL TO ME IN HAND STATING POWER WAS TO BE TURNED ON TODAY, I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD NOT ACCEPT ME NOW. It was a complete waste of my time, money and resources. I don't know if management isn't trained, or maybe the owner is just helping out a friend by giving them a job, but to turn away 1080$ in guaranteed money due to the fact that someone is incapable of completely doing the most basic requirements of their job is mind-boggling. I have multiple voice mails saved on my phone showing the incompetence of management and also a recording showing clear discrimination against me. I really hope there is an opening for that job so someone who is qualified, or who just has some sense of the idea of what's going on can fill the void. Also, when I asked to have the property mangers' boss's number I was told, "You can have their number, but I'm still not doing business with you." Super rude and disrespectful. Also, I found it funny that I wasn't contacted until after I had already paid the energy bill for a place I hadn't even stepped foot in."
